Abstrak

Buah naga merupakan salah satu holtikultura yang sudah dikenal oleh masyarakat. Kecamatan Bangorejo merupakan salah satu sentra budidaya buah naga terutama di Desa Sambirejo. Panen yang melimpah ruah mengakibatkan harga buah naga turun drastis tidak hanya harga saja yang menurun musim hujan dan hama juga dapat menurunkan kualitas buah naga hal ini mengakibatkan banyak petani  merugi hingga banyak buah naga terbuang percuma. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis potensi pengembangan tanaman pertanian buah naga di Desa Sambirejo Kecamatan Bangorejo Kabupaten Banyuwangi.

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif menggunakan oprasi matematis. Oprasi matematis disini digunakan sebagai penerapan atau pemanfaatan metode analisis untuk membantu pengambilan kebijaksanaan memilih beberapa kemungkinan untuk mencapai tujuan. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah Desa Sambirejo Kecamatan Bangorejo Kabupaten Banyuwangi, Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Banyuwangi, Dinasi Kebudayaan dan Pariwissata Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, studi literatur, kuisioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode analisis data AHP dengan program Expert Choice.

Hasil analisis data menggunakan metode AHP melalui software Expert Choice menunjukan daya tarik konsumen menempati persentase tertinggi sejumlah 24,5% dan untuk alternatif pengembangan pertanian buah naga memperoleh persentasi tertenggi sejumlah 35,2 % produk olahan buah naga. Jumlah produksi olahan buah naga belum tergolong banyak perharinya karena terbatasnya fasilitas seperti alat produksi, tenaga kerja dan modal usaha. Perlu perhatian pemerintah dalam memberi fasilitas produksi seperti bantuan modal, peralatan,  dan pelatihan. Adanya bantuan dari pemda maka akan mempercepat perkembangan industri pengolahan buah naga sehingga dapat menambah jumlah produksi yang memungkinkan meningkatkan keuntungan. Produk olahan buah naga lebih di prioritaskan untuk dikembangkan.  Produk olahan buah naga sejauh ini sangat diminati oleh masyarakat karena memiliki keunikan dan daya tarik yang tinggi dibanding produk olahan pertanian lainya. Cakupan pasar produk olahan buah naga tergolong luas karena produk olahan cenderung lebih tahan lama dibanding dengan buah segar.

Abstract

Dragon fruit is one of the horticulture that is already known by the public. Bangorejo District is one of the centers of dragon fruit cultivation, especially in Sambirejo Village. Abundant harvests cause the price of dragon fruit to drop dramatically, not only the price of the rainy season decreases and pests can also reduce the quality of dragon fruit, this causes many farmers to lose money until many dragon fruit is wasted. The purpose of this study is to increase the potential for the development of dragon fruit agricultural plants in Sambirejo Village, Bangorejo District, Banyuwangi Regency.

This type of research is a qualitative study using mathematical operations. Mathematical operations are used here as an application or use of analytical methods to help making wisdom in choosing some possibilities to achieve goals. The location of this research is Sambirejo Village, Bangorejo Subdistrict, Banyuwangi Regency, Department of Agriculture, Banyuwangi Regency, Culture and Tourism Section of Banyuwangi Regency. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, study of literature, questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using AHP data analysis methods with the Expert Choice program.

The results of data analysis using the AHP method through the Expert Choice software show that the attractiveness of consumers occupies the highest percentage of 24.5% and for alternative development of dragon fruit farming the highest percentage is 35.2% of processed dragon fruit products. The amount of processed dragon fruit production has not been classified as many per day due to limited facilities such as production equipment, labor and business capital. The government needs attention in providing production facilities such as capital assistance, equipment, and training. The assistance of the local government will accelerate the development of the dragon fruit processing industry so that it can increase the amount of production that allows increasing profits. Dragon fruit processed products are more prioritized for development. So far, the processed dragon fruit products have been very popular among the people because they have a unique and high appeal compared to other processed agricultural products. The market coverage of processed dragon fruit products is quite broad because processed products tend to be more durable than fresh fruit.
