DOLLY'S METAMORPHOUS BATIK MOTIF AT THE BATIK HOUSE OF PUTAT JAYA SURABAYA

ABSTRAK-RumahHbatikKPutatTJayaAyang bertempatan di Putat Jaya  atau Gang Dolly merupakan salah satu perwujudan kepedulian pemerintah Kota Surabaya dalam upaya pelestarian dan meningkatkan perekonomian warga. Diresmikan tahun 2016, pada saat itu Rumah batik ini hanya diperuntukkan bagi warga  terdampak lokalisasi Dolly, namun mulai tahun 2019 telah dibuka untuk umum dan menjadi pusat pengembangan motif batik khas Surabaya. Pelatihan dirumah batik Putat Jaya dikelola oleh seniman Mulyadi Gunawan atau biasa disebut Pengky Gunawan. Pada penelitian ini penulis mengungkapkan bahwa pelatihanNdi rumah batik PutatAJayaASurabayaAtelahMmampuimemunculkannkelompok–kelompok UKM batik dan memproduksiIlebih dari 10 motif batik khas Surabaya salah satunyaMotif  Batik Metamorfosa Dolly.   Penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk mengetahui sumberRide, isen-isen dan kaitan motifApada motif batik tulis Metamorfosa DollyBatik Metamorfosa Dolly yang mempunyai ciri khas tersendiri dari beberapa yang telah di produksi dirumah batik Putat Jaya. Batik metamorfosa Doly ini belum di kenal atau belum ada yang mengetahui  sumber ide, dan isen-isen motif dan filosofi yang terkandung didalam. Batik metamorfosa  Dolly ini merupakan penggambaran dari wilayah Putat Jaya atau biasa di sebutGgang Dolly, pada batik ini memilikiAtiga motifFkhas utama, yaituUdaunNjarak, kepompongGdanKkupu-kupu. Ketiga motif ini mewakili bagaimanaAkawasan lokalisasi Gang Dolly bermetamorfosis layaknyaAkupu-kupu menjadi indstriAkreatifAseperti sekarangGini.

ABSTRACT-Rumah HbatikKPutatTJayaA which is located in Putat Jaya or Gang Dolly is a manifestation of the concern of the Surabaya City government in efforts to preserve and improve the people's economy. Inaugurated in 2016, at that time this batik house was only intended for residents affected by Dolly's localization, but starting in 2019 it has been opened to the public and has become the center for the development of Surabaya's typical batik motifs. The Putat Jaya batik house training was managed by the artist Mulyadi Gunawan or commonly called Pengky Gunawan. In this study, the authors revealed that the training at the Putat AJayaASurabayaA batik house was able to emerge batik UKM groups and produce more than 10 typical Surabaya batik motifs, one of which was the Metamorphosis Dolly Batik Motif. This study aims to determine the source of Ride, isen-isen and the connection of the A motif in the Metamorphosis Dolly batik motif Dolly's Metamorphosis Batik which has its own characteristics from some that have been produced at the Putat Jaya batik house. Doly's metamorphic batik is unknown or no one knows the source of the idea, and the various motives and philosophies contained therein. Dolly's metamorphic batik is a depiction of the Putat Jaya region or commonly called Dolly's Waist, this batik has three main distinctive motifs, namely Udaun Njarak, cocoons and butterflies. These three motifs represent how the Gang Dolly localization area has metamorphosed like a butterfly into the creative industry as it is today.
