Pengembangan Media RUSBADAR (Rumah Rumus Bangun Datar) Berbasis RME pada Materi Bangun Datar Kelas IV SD
Development of RUSBADAR Media (Plane Geometry Formula House) Based on RME in Plane Geometry Material for Elementary School Grade IV
RUSBADAR merupakan inovasi media pembelajaran konkret dari segi spesifikasinya yang dipadukan dengan pendekatan RME (Realistic Mathematics Education) dalam penerapannya. RUSBADAR berbasis RME sebagai solusi efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman bangun datar bagi peserta didik kelas IV SD karena media ini dapat meciptakan suasana belajar yang aktif dan bermakna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kelayakan media yang meliputi kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan RUSBADAR dalam pembelajaran matematika pada materi bangun datar kelas IV SD. Metode penelitian pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, & Evaluation). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media RUSBADAR telah berhasil pada beberapa aspek diantaranya: (1) kevalidan materi mencapai skor 88,57%, dengan kategori sangat valid, sedangkan kevalidan media mencapai skor 88,42%, dengan kategori sangat valid; (2) kepraktisan media mencapai skor 91,36%, dengan kategori sangat praktis; dan (3) efektivitas media mencapai skor 79,44%, dengan kategori efektif. Kesimpulannya media RUSBADAR dinyatakan layak dan efektif digunakan pada pembelajaran matematika materi bangun datar kelas IV SD.

RUSBADAR is a concrete learning media innovation in terms of its specifications, combined with the RME (Realistic Mathematics Education) approach in its implementation. RUSBADAR, based on RME, serves as an effective solution to enhance the understanding of plane geometry material for fourth-grade elementary school students because this media can create an active and meaningful learning atmosphere. This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of the media, which includes the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of RUSBADAR in teaching mathematics on the topic of plane geometry material for fourth-grade elementary school students. The research development method used is the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, & Evaluation). The results show that the RUSBADAR media has succeeded in several aspects, including: (1) material validity reaching a score of 88,57%, categorized as highly valid, media validity reached a score of 88,42%, categorized as highly valid; (2) media practicality reaching a score of 91,36%, categorized as highly practical; and (3) media effectiveness reaching a score of 79,44%, categorized as effective. In conclusion, the RUSBADAR media is considered feasible and effective for use in teaching mathematics on the topic of plane geometry for fourth-grade elementary school students.
