The purpose of this research is how to develop Dewa Ruci's two-dimensional
animated augmented reality media by strengthening character education in junior
high school students, which includes (1) the process of developing
two-dimensional animated augmented reality media in Dewa Ruci's play to
strengthen character education in junior high school students, (2) the quality
of the development of two-dimensional animated augmented reality media Dewa
Ruci's play for strengthening character education in junior high school
students, (3) the effectiveness of developing the two-dimensional animated
augmented reality media for Dewa Ruci's play for strengthening character
education in junior high school students.
This research is based on constructivist learning theory that is
student-centered or so-called SCL (student centered learning). The method used
in this research is Research and development (RnD) using the 4D development
model, namely define, design, development and desseminate. The analysis
includes quantitative and qualitative covering various observational notes,
interviews, literature studies and questionnaires or questionnaires. The
development procedures used are potential and problems, data collection,
product design, design validation, product design revision, product trial,
product revision, trial run, product revision, final product.
The results of the research (1) the process of developing augmented reality
media Dewa Ruci's play to strengthen character education in junior high school
students products in the form of A4 sized pop-up cards. (2) quality is based on
the aspect of graphic and material aspects. The result of the validation of the
graphic expert is that the percentage value of 68% in the first validation, and
93% in the second validation, it can be said to be very feasible and does not
need to be revised. The results of the validation of the material experts note
that the percentage value of 72% in the first validation, and 96% in the second
validation, it can be said to be very feasible and does not need to be revised.
(3) effectiveness based on student responses and teacher responses. The results
of student responses are known to have a pretest percentage of 54% and a
posttest percentage value of 89%, so it can be said to be very feasible and
does not need to be revised. The results of the teacher response test in the
first phase reached 57% and the second stage reached 94%, so it can be said to
be very feasible and does not need to be revised.
