IMPLEMENTASI MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES RESEARCH (MIR) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MUTU PEMBELAJARAN DI SCHOOL OF HUMAN, KOTA BEKASI
Penelitian dilakukan guna mengetahui: 1)Penerapan Multiple Intteligences Research (MIR) di School of Human (SOH) Kota Bekasi untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran; 2)Menemukan faktor pendukung dan; 3)Faktor penghambat penerapan MIR untuk peningkatan mutu pembelajaran.
Penelitian ini jenis kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA SOH Kota Bekasi. Subjek penelitian orang-orang yang terlibat dalam implementasi MIR di sekolah tersebut. Informannya adalah wakil direktur School of Human, kepala sekolah SMA SOH, guru Bimbingan Konseling, dan staf. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Untuk mengetahui keabsahan data, penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Data dianalisa dengan teknik analisis interaktif dengan langkah pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi/penarikan kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa SOH menerapkan MIR secara sistematis sejak rekrutmen siswa hingga kelulusan siswa melalui Manajemen Talenta Sekolah (MTS). MTS menempuh jalan pertama pencapaian akademis: melalui asesmen MIR bagi siswa, sosialisasi sistem pembelajaran kepada orang tua dan siswa, pengajaran sesuai gaya belajar, dan penilaian otentik. Jalan kedua implementasi MIR dengan penguatan karakter siswa: yakni penerapan sekolah inklusi, berbasis observasi, penambahan materi ajar 21st Century Academy, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, dan wajib kompetisi. Sedangkan jalan ketiga adalah pengembangan karir siswa: melalui desain profesi, desain jurusan, desain cita-cita, dan karya ilmiah. The study was conducted to determine: 1) Implementation of Multiple Intelligences Research (MIR) at School of Human (SOH) in Bekasi City to improve learning quality; 2) Find supporting factors and; 3) Inhibiting factors for implementing MIR. This research is a qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The study was conducted at SMA SOH Bekasi City. The subjects of the study were people involved in the implementation of MIR at the school.The informants were the deputy director of School of Human, the headmaster of SMA SOH, Guidance and Counseling teacher, and staff. The data collection method in this study used interviews, observations, and documentation. To determine the validity of the data, this study used source triangulation techniques. The data were analyzed using interactive analysis techniques with the steps of data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and verification/drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that SOH implements MIR systematically from student recruitment to student graduation through School Talent Management (MTS). MTS takes the first path of academic achievement: through MIR assessment for students, socialization of the learning system to parents and students, teaching according to learning styles, and authentic assessment. The second path of MIR implementation by strengthening student character: with inclusive schools, based on observation, the addition of 21st Century Academy subjects, extracurricular activities, and mandatory competitions. While the third path is student career development: through professional design, major design, ideal design, and scientific work.
