Setiap manusia membutuhkan komunikasi dalam menjalani hidupnya. Hal ini wajar karena manusia adalah makhluk sosial yang pastinya butuh pertolongan, teman, dan motivasi dalam menjalani hidupnya. Dalam berkomunikasi, Bahasa merupakan alat yang digunakan sebagai symbol, huruf dan kata yang dipahami satu sama lain hingga mudah terjalin komunikasi. Oleh karena itu, Bahasa sebagai alat komunikasi dan ilmu pengetahuan yang abstrak maka diperlukan pemahaman mendalam mengenai penggunaannya. Salah satu ilmu untuk memahami Bahasa adalah pragmatik. Dengan cabang penelitian tindak tutur ilokusi. Menggunakan sebuah karya film sebagai objek,penelitian dengan pendekatan pragmatik serta dibantu metode deskriptif kualitatif, peneliti mengkaji tindak tutur ilokusi ekspresif. Maka fokus dari penelitian ini adalah mencari jenis tindak tutur ilokusi ekspresif apa saja yang ada didalam film tersebut, dan bagaimana jenis tindak tutur ilokusi ekspresif tersebut kemudian menjadi bagian dari dialog yang diperankan pemain. Film Kanca Kenthel karya Endrilopa ini menarik untuk dikaji karena didalamnya terdapat berbagai tindak tutur ilokusi ekspresif yang menggambarkan ekspresi dari para pemeran dalam kehidupannya sehari-hari yang tentu saja menambah ragam kajian bahasa. Teknik yang digunakan dalam mencari data adalah teknik simak bebas libat cakap dan observasi sehingga ditemukan 11 jenis tindak tutur ilokusi ekspresif yang tentu saja membuat pembaca penasaran dan ingin mengetahui masing – masing jenis tindak tutur, maka akan dijabarkan dengan detail sesuai prosedur penelitian yang ada.

Every human being needs communication in living his life. This is natural because humans are social creatures who definitely need help, friends, and motivation in living their lives. In communicating, language is a tool used as symbols, letters and words that are understood by each other so that communication is easy to establish. Therefore, language as a communication tool and abstract science requires a deep understanding of its use. One of the sciences to understand language is pragmatics. With the branch of illocutionary speech act research. Using a film as an object, research with a pragmatic approach and assisted by qualitative descriptive methods, the researcher examines expressive illocutionary speech acts. So the focus of this research is to find out what types of expressive illocutionary speech acts are in the film, and how these types of expressive illocutionary speech acts then become part of the dialogue played by the players. The Kanca Kenthel film by Endrilopa is interesting to study because in it there are various expressive illocutionary speech acts that describe the expressions of the actors in their daily lives, which of course adds to the variety of language studies. The technique used in finding the data is a free listening technique, involving conversation and observation, so that 11 types of expressive illocutionary speech acts are found which of course make the reader curious and want to know each type of speech act, which will be described in detail according to existing research procedures.
