ABSTRAK
Bivalvia merupakan salah satu penyusun komunitas makrozoobentos di kawasan pesisir pantai. Dalam ekosistem, bivalvia berperan sebagai pemakan suspensi dan deposit serta menjadi mangsa (prey). Pantai Boom merupakan kawasan pantai utara di Kabupaten Tuban berprofil landai dan dikembangkan untuk wisata.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keanekaragaman bivalvia, mendeskripsikan kemelimpahan bivalvia, menganalisis profil habitat, dan menganalisis korelasi antara profil habitat dengan kemelimpahan relatif dan jumlah spesies bivalvia di Pantai Boom Tuban.Sampel bivalvia diambil dengan metode belt transect yang ditentukan empat stasiun dengan 240 plot.Profil habitat yang dikaji adalah pH air, pH substrat, salinitas, suhu, dan tipe substrat. Data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif dan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bivalvia yang ditemukan di zona intertidalPantai Boom, Tuban meliputi Tellina timorensis, Tellina palatum, Siliqua winteriana, Solen sp., Anadara rufescens, Harvella plicataria, Mactra violacea, Mactra grandis, Meretrix lusoria, Meretrix meretrix, Marcia hiantina, Crassostrea gigas, dan Ciboticola lunata. Nilai indeks keanekaragaman bivalvia di Pantai Boom Tuban yaitu 1,513. Kemelimpahan relatif bivalvia tertinggi di Pantai Boom Tuban adalah Tellina timorensis, yaitu sebesar 48,34% danterendah pada Marcia hiantina, dan Ciboticola lunata, yaitu sebesar 0,15%. Profil habitat bivalvia di Pantai Boom Tuban adalah pH air 7,3 ± 0,75, pH substrat 6,5 ± 0,30, salinitas 24-28%o ± 1,75, suhu 31ºC ± 0,91, dan tipe subtrat pasir lanau. Habitat ini dapat mendukung komunitas bivalvia di Pantai Boom Tuban.Profil habitat tidak berkorelasi dengan kemelimpahan relatif bivalvia, namun berkorelasi dengan jumlah spesies atau kekayaan jenis bivalvia di Pantai Boom Tuban.

ABSTRACT
Bivalves is one component of the macrozoobenthos community in the coastal region. In ecosystem, bivalves act as suspensionanddeposit-feeder and prey. Boom Beach located in northern coastal area in Tuban Regency with a sloping profile and is developed for tourism.This study was aimed to describe the diversity of bivalves, describe the abundant of bivalves,analyze the habitat profile of bivalvesand analyze the correlation between habitat profile with the relative abundant and sum of bivalves species in Tuban Boom Beach. Bivalve samples were taken using belt transect method, with four determinedstations divided into 240 plots. The profiles of the habitat studied were water pH, substrate pH, salinity, temperature, and substrate type. The research data obtained was then analyzed using descriptive statistics and Spearman correlation test. The result showed that the bivalves found in the intertidal zone of Tuban Boom Beach were Tellinatimorensis, Tellina palate, Siliquawinteriana, Solen sp., Anadararufescens, Harvellaplicataria, Mactraviolacea, Mactragrandis, Meretrixlusoria, Meretrixmeretrix, Marcia hiantina, Crassostreagigas, and Ciboticolalunata. The bivalves diversity index value in Tuban Boom Beach was 1.513. The most abundant bivalve in Tuban Boom Beach was Tellinatimorensis, which was 48.34%, while the least abundant bivalves were Marcia hiantina and Ciboticolalunata, which was 0.15%. The profile of the bivalves habitat in Tuban Boom Beach the acidity was water 7.3 ± 0.75, the substrate acidity was 6.5 ± 0.30, the salinity was 24-28%o ± 1.75, the temperature was 31ºC ± 0.91, and type of sand substrate silt. This habitat can support the bivalve community in Tuban Boom Beach.The habitat profile does not correlate with the relative abundant of bivalves, but correlates with the sum of species or bivalves species in Tuban Boom Beach.
