PEMBENTUKAN KONSEP DIRI MANTAN PECANDU NARKOTIKA SEBAGAI UPAYA KESIAPAN REINTEGRASI SOSIAL
ESTABLISHMENT OF THE SELF-CONCEPT OF EX-DARCOTIC ADIDERS AS A SOCIAL REINTEGRATION READINESS EFFORTS
Reintegrasi menjadi tujuan terpenting dalam proses pemulihan bagi mantan pecandu narkotika. Upaya pemulihan dilakukan agar mantan pecandu narkotika dapat kembali aktif, produktif dan berfungsi sosial. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pembentukan konsep diri mantan pecandu narkotika sebagai upayanya dalam mencapai kesiapan reintegrasi. Pada penelitian ini konsep diri dibentuk oleh mantan pecandu narkotika tidak lepas dari pengalaman – pengalamannya selama proses pemulihan yang dijalankan pada lembaga rehabilitasi yaitu IPWL Yayasan Rumah Kita berlokasi di kabupaten Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur. Tujuan penelitian ini berusaha menggali gambaran empiris tentang konsep diri pecandu narkotika dalam berbagai pengalamannya di lembaga rehabilitasi. Peneliti menggunakan gagasan pemikiran teori konsep diri dari George Herbert Mead, sebagai pisau analisis. Serta menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, Edmund Husserl. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa unsur pembentukan konsep diri mantan pecandu narkotika meliputi pertama, mind bersandar atas keyakinan bersama bahwa tindakan penyalahgunaan narkotika adalah bentuk ketidakberdayaan diri terhadap adiksi. Kedua, unsur self terbentuk berdasarkan proses komunikasi. Ketiga, unsur society terbentuk berdasarkan adanya dorongan kekuatan besar yang disebut high power.

Reintegration is the most important goal in the recovery process for former drug addicts. Recovery efforts are carried out so that former narcotics addicts can return to being active, productive and functioning socially. This study focuses on the formation of self-concept of former narcotics addicts as an effort to achieve reintegration readiness. In this study, the self-concept formed by former narcotics addicts cannot be separated from their experiences during the rehabilitation process carried out at a rehabilitation institution, namely IPWL Rumah Kita Foundation, located in Sidoarjo district, East Java. The purpose of this study is to explore an empirical picture of the self-concept of narcotic addicts in their various experiences in rehabilitation institutions. The researcher uses the ideas of self-concept theory from George Herbert Mead, as an analytical knife. As well as using qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach, Edmund Husserl. The results of the study show that the elements of forming the self-concept of former narcotics addicts include first, the mind rests on a shared belief that the act of drug abuse is a form of self-helplessness against addiction. Second, the element of self is formed based on the communication process. Third, the element of society is formed based on the encouragement of a great power called high power.
