The Relationship between Organizational Commitment and Organizational Citizenship Behavior in Student Athletes
Atlet mahasiswa merupakan bagian struktur organisasi dari Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa yang berguna untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitasnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi hubungan antara komitmen organisasi dan Organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) pada atlet mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan Accidental Sampling. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 99 atlet mahasiswa. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang terdiri dari skala Organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) dan skala Komitmen Organisasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode korelasi product moment Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat keterkaitan yang signifikan antara komitmen organisasi dan perilaku OCB pada atlet mahasiswa UNESA, dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 dan koefisien korelasi Pearson sebesar 0,627. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa tingginya komitmen organisasi \atlet mahasiswa, maka tinggi pula OCB yang ditunjukkan. Hal ini disebabkan oleh fakta bahwa atlet mahasiswa yang memiliki komitmen organisasi yang tinggi cenderung lebih terlibat dalam perilaku OCB yang positif, seperti membantu rekan tim, mendukung tujuan organisasi, dan menjaga harmoni dalam lingkungan tim. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan organisasi, karena perilaku OCB yang positif dari atlet mahasiswa membantu meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas organisasi.

To expand the proficiency of Advanced education, it requires pribadial availability in doing undertakings outside the extent of their own liabilities, not simply completing authoritative assignments appropriately. Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is the term for this phenomenon. Authoritative responsibility influences OCB in understudy competitors. Fulfillment with the athletic experience additionally assumes a significant part in the rise of OCB conduct. Athletes' commitment is bolstered and they are motivated to act voluntarily and proactively for the organization when the experience is praised. This study sought to ascertain the connection between student athletes' organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and organizational commitment. Accidental Sampling and quantitative research methods are utilized in this study. 99 student athletes made up the sample. Techniques for gathering data include the use of questionnaires from the Organizational Commitment scale and the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) scale. Product moment analysis is used in this research data analysis method. The relationship between organizational commitment and OCB behavior among UNESA student athletes was found to have a pearson correlation value of 0.627 and a significance level of 0.000, respectively. It is also common knowledge that OCB behavior will rise in proportion to student athletes' organizational commitment. This is on the grounds that understudy competitors who have high authoritative responsibility will be bound to participate in certain OCB conduct and they will be more proactive in assisting pribadial with joining pribadials, supporting hierarchical objectives, and keeping up with congruity in the group climate. This makes it possible for an organization to expand and work more efficiently.
