Meningkatkan Pemahaman Membaca Siswa Melalui Pembelajaran Kooperatif (Lempar Bola Salju) Di SMA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa dengan menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif melalui permainan lempar bola salju.Desain penelitian ini berupa data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Metode pembelajaran kooperatif yaitu dimanasiswa memecahkan isi teks atau bacaan dengan kegiatan kelompok. Sebagian besar siswa merasa bingung dalam memahami isi bacaan, namun ketika mengerjakannya secara bersama-sama atau berkelompok mudah memahami karena merasa terbantu oleh kelompok sehingga siswa dapat saling membantu dan juga bekerja sama dalam menyelesaikan isi bacaan. Dalam metode pembelajaran kooperatif terdapat cara untuk menyampaikan materi pembelajaran yaitu melalui permainan lempar bola salju. Permainan ini merupakan permainan yang dapat digunakan untuk memecahkan konten bacaan secara bersama-sama atau dalam kelompok. Dengan melalui permainan lempar bola salju akan membuat metode pembelajaran kooperatif lebih menyenangkan. Artikel ini membahas tentang bagaimana meningkatkan pemahaman membaca dengan metode pembelajaran kooperatif melalui permainan lempar bola salju.Ada 30 siswa kelas X SMA di Kedamean yang menjadi subjek penelitian ini. Peneliti melihat hasil angket berupa pertanyaan tentang metode melempar bola salju dan catatan lapangan selama penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran kooperatif dengan permainan lempar bola salju mampu meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa dan juga memudahkan siswa dalam mengerjakan soal dan jawaban.

This study is aimed to improve student reading comprehension use cooperative learning through snowball throwing. The design of this research is in the form of qualitative and quantitative data.The cooperative learning method is where students solve the contents of a text or reading with group activities. Most students feel confused in understanding the contents of the reading, but when they do it together or in groups, they easily understand because they feel helped by a group so that students can help each other and also work together in solving the contents of a reading. In the cooperative learning method, there is a way to convey learning material, namely through snowball throwing games. This game is a game that can be used to solve reading content together or in groups. By going through the snowball throwing game, it will make the cooperative learning method more fun. This article discuss about how to improve reading comprehension with cooperative learning methods through snowball throwing games.There are 30 students of tenth grade in a senior high school in Kedamean become the subject of this study.Researchers looked at the results of the questionnaire in the form of questions about the snowball throwing method and field notes during the study. The results showed that the cooperative learning method using the snowball throwing game was able to improve students' reading skills and also made it easier for students to do questions and answers.
