Pemerintah merancang Kurikulum 13 dalam mengatasi permasalahan di dunia pendidikan yang belum terselesaikan di abad 21. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan soal HOTS pada Penilaian Akhir Tahun (PAT) fisika di SMA Surabaya, penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan menganalisis dokumen soal PAT secara kualitatif dan mengkategorikan berdasarkan level kognitif menganalisis (C4), mengevaluasi (C5), dan mencipta (C6). Sasaran penelitian adalah dokumen naskah soal PAT kelas 10,11, dan 12 untuk tahun ajaran 2018/2019, TA 2019/2020, TA 2020/2021 di SMAN 11 Surabaya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pada soal fisika PAT di SMAN 11 Surabaya berdasarkan klasifikasi level kognitif kategori soal C4 mendominasi nilai persentase soal PAT pada tiga tahun ajaran terakhir, yaitu 2018/2019, 2019/2021, 2020/2021. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa soal PAT setiap tingkatan kelas diperoleh perbedaan level kognitif pada jumlah soal HOTS dengan persentase lebih kecil dibandingkan soal LOTS dan tidak ditemukan kriteria soal mencipta (C6), dan soal C4 mendominasi persentase soal PAT dalam tiga tahun ajaran terakhir.
The government designed Curriculum 13 in overcoming problems in the world of education that have not been resolved in the 21st century. The purpose of this study is to describe the HOTS questions in the Final Year Assessment (PAT) physics at SMA Surabaya, this research is a descriptive study by analyzing the PAT question documents qualitatively and categorizing based on the cognitive levels of analyzing (C4), evaluating (C5), and creating (C6). The research target is the PAT question document for grades 10, 11, and 12 for the 2018/2019 academic year, 2019/2020 academic year, 2020/2021 academic year at SMAN 11 Surabaya. The results of this study indicate that the PAT physics questions at SMAN 11 Surabaya based on the cognitive level classification of the C4 question category dominate the percentage value of PAT questions in the last three academic years, namely 2018/2019, 2019/2021, 2020/2021. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the PAT questions for each grade level differ in cognitive level in the number of HOTS questions with a smaller percentage than LOTS questions and no criteria for creating questions (C6) are found, and C4 questions dominate the percentage of PAT questions in the last three academic years.
