The Influence of Conformity and Family Economic Education on Consumption Behavior of Students of SMAN 1 Puri Mojokerto

Siswa SMA yang berada pada usia remaja cenderung mengkonsumsi atau membeli karena selalu saja mengikuti trend tanpa melihat motif kebutuhannya, serta tanpa memperhatikan apakah barang yang dibeli tersebut memang benar-benar diperlukan atau tidak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh konformitas dan pendidikan ekonomi keluarga terhadap perilaku konsumsi siswa SMAN 1 Puri Mojokerto. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 275 siswa. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda menggunakan alat penelitian aplikasi SPPS. Dalam penelitian ini, terdapat hasil bahwasannya terdapat pengaruh secara parsial konformitas terhadap perilaku konsumsi, terdapat pengaruh secara parsial  pendidikan ekonomi keluarga terhadap perilaku konsumsi. Serta, adanya pengaruh secara simultan konformitas dan pendidikan ekonomi keluarga terhadap perilaku konsumsi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan seluruh variabel bebas dalam model ini dapat dikatakan sesuai dan signifikan serta mempunyai kontribusi terhadap variabel terikat, untuk itu diharapkan siswa dapat mempertimbangkan kelompok pertemanannya serta orangtua bisa lebih memberikan ajaran kepada anak mereka untuk berkonsumsi sesuai prosinya sejak dini. 

High school students who are in their teens tend to consume or buy because they always follow trends without seeing the motives for their needs, and without paying attention to whether the items purchased are really needed or not. This study aims to analyze the influence of conformity and family economic education on the consumption behavior of SMAN 1 Puri Mojokerto students. The number of samples in this study were 275 students. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis using the SPPS application research tool. In this study, the results show that there is a partial influence of conformity on consumption behavior, there is a partial effect of family economic education on consumption behavior. Also, there is a simultaneous influence of conformity and family economic education on consumption behavior. The results of this study indicate that all independent variables in this model can be said to be appropriate and significant and have a contribution to the dependent variable, for this reason it is hoped that students can consider their friendship groups and parents can teach their children more to consume according to their profusion from an early age.
