Penelitian pegembangan video pembelajaran ilustrasi teknik kolase bahan alam di SMPN 30 Gresik dilatar belakangi oleh banyaknya potensi bahan alam di sekitar siswa SMPN 30 Gresik yang belum dimanfaatkan untuk pembuatan karya seni rupa khususnya karya ilustrasi. Hal ini dikarenakan kurangnya kreativitas siswa yang disebabkan kurangnya informasi dan pemahaman mengenai variasi bahan pembuatan karya seni ilustrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses pembuatan dan mendeskripsikan hasil penerapan video pembelajaran ilustrasi teknik kolase bahan alam di SMP Negeri 30 Gresik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) menurut Sugiyono, 2018, meliputi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, kuesioner, pre test, post test, hasil karya, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dalam uji kelayakan pengembangan video pembelajaran mendapatkan persentase dengan rata-rata sebesar 92,94% oleh validasi ahli. Hasil video pembelajaran ilustrasi teknik kolase bahan alam dibuktikan dengan peningkatan nilai pre test sebesar 57,92 ke nilai post test siswa sebesar 78,17. Nilai hasil karya siswa juga mendapatkan rata-rata sebesar 78,41 dan hasil kuesioner mendapat persentase sebesar 97,5%. Dengan demikian, media ini efektif untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran seni budaya khususnya pada materi menggambar ilustrasi.
The development research video learning natural material collage technique illustration at SMPN 30 Gresik is motivated by a lot of potential of natural materials around students SMPN 30 Gresik which has not been used for manufacturing fine art especially illustrations. This is due to the lack of student creativity caused by lack of information and understanding of the variety of materials for illustration art creation. This study aims to describe the manufacturing process and describe the results video application natural material collage technique illustration learning at SMP Negeri 30 Gresik. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method by Sugiyono, 2018, includes potential and problems, data collection, product design, validation design, revision design, product trial. This research used collect the data, interview, observation, questionnaire, pre-test, post-test, works, and documentation. The results of this study show that in the feasibility test of developing learning video got a percentage with an average of 92.94% by expert validation. The results of the learning video illustration of the collage technique of natural materials are evidenced by an increase in the pre-test score of 57.92 to the post-test score of 78.17. The value of student work also got an average of 78.41 and the results of the questionnaire got a percentage of 97.5%. Thus, this media is effective to be used in the learning process of cultural arts, especially in illustration drawing material.
