DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A WEB-BASED SIMPONIS (STUDENT VIOLATION POINT SYSTEM) AT SMPN 2 PARANG
Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) telah menjadi bagian penting dalam menunjang efisiensi berbagai aspek pendidikan, termasuk dalam hal pengelolaan data kedisiplinan siswa. Di SMP Negeri 2 Parang, pencatatan pelanggaran siswa masih dilakukan secara manual, yaitu dengan menulis tangan dan mengirimkan foto ke grup WhatsApp sekolah. Cara ini dinilai kurang efisien, rawan kesalahan, dan berisiko kehilangan data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem pendataan poin pelanggaran siswa berbasis web yang terintegrasi dan akurat. Metode Waterfall dipilih dalam penelitian ini karena bersifat sistematis, serta menggunakan metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang diperoleh, dihasilkan rancangan sistem aplikasi yang berbasis web ini sesuai yang diharapkan. Namun akan tetap harus dikembangkan sehingga bisa menjadi lebih baik di masa depan.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has become an essential part in supporting the efficiency of various aspects of education, including the management of student disciplinary data. At SMP Negeri 2 Parang, the recording of student violations is still done manually by handwriting and sending photos to the school’s WhatsApp group. This method is considered inefficient, prone to errors, and at risk of data loss. This study aims to design and develop an integrated and accurate web-based system for recording student violation points. The Waterfall model was chosen for this study due to its systematic nature, with data collection methods including observation and interviews. Based on the testing results, the web-based application system has been successfully designed as expected. However, it still needs to be further developed to improve its capabilities in the future.
