Identifying the Evolution of Learning Methods in Physical Education: A Systematic Review of Modern Approaches and Digital Integration

Latar Belakang. Proses pembelajaran dalam pendidikan jasmani memerlukan metode pembelajaran yang tepat dan efektif. Guru pendidikan jasmani memiliki tanggung jawab untuk menentukan metode pembelajaran yang mempertimbangkan kondisi siswa mereka.

Tujuan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan tinjauan sistematis terhadap perkembangan metode pembelajaran yang telah terjadi dalam pendidikan jasmani hingga saat ini.

Metode. Studi ini menggunakan empat basis data: SCOPUS, Google Scholar, OpenAlex, dan Crossref sebagai data penelitian. Metode Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) diterapkan dalam identifikasi data penelitian. Selain itu, juga dilakukan analisis kata kunci menggunakan perangkat lunak VosViewer. Selain itu, dilakukan tinjauan literatur untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif tentang topik-topik yang telah diteliti.

Hasil. Sebanyak 5.358 artikel diidentifikasi sebagai tinjauan sistematis dalam penelitian ini. Hasil tinjauan sistematis menunjukkan bahwa penelitian telah mengalami perkembangan yang signifikan. Di sisi lain, metode pembelajaran dalam pendidikan jasmani juga berhasil mengintegrasikan teknologi digital. Perkembangan yang terjadi ditandai dengan metode pembelajaran tradisional berubah menjadi metode pembelajaran modern. Integrasi teknologi dalam metode pembelajaran modern memiliki dampak positif bagi siswa dan guru.

Kesimpulan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan metode pembelajaran dalam pendidikan jasmani telah berkembang sangat signifikan. Perkembangan ini masih diperlukan dalam aspek digitalisasi, sehingga metode yang diterapkan menjadi lebih futuristik.

Background. The learning process in physical education requires an appropriate and effective learning method. It is

incumbent upon physical education teachers to determine learning methods that take into account the conditions of

their students.

Objectives. The objective of this study was to conduct a systematic review of the development of learning methods

that have occurred in physical education so far.

Materials and methods. The present study used four databases: SCOPUS, Google Scholar, OpenAlex, and Crossref

as research data. The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses method was applied in

the identification of research data. Furthermore, it was also conducted a keyword analysis using VosViewer software.

In addition, a literature review was conducted to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the topics that have

been researched.

Results. A total of 5358 articles were identified as systematic reviews in this study. The results of the systematic

review showed that research has undergone significant development. On the other hand, learning methods in

physical education have also successfully integrated digital technology. The development that occurs is characterised

by traditional learning methods turning into modern learning methods. The integration of technology in modern

learning methods has a positive impact on students and teachers.

Conclusions. The findings indicate that the development of learning methods in physical education has evolved very

significantly. These developments are still needed in the digitalisation aspect, so that the methods applied are more

futuristic.
