ANALISIS SOUND EFFECT DAN EKSPRESI EMOSI MUSIKAL LAGU TENANG KARYA YURA YUNITA

SOUND EFFECT ANALYSIS AND MUSICAL EMOTION EXPRESSION OF YURA YUNITA’S TENANG SONG

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan  Sound Effect dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana Ekspresi Emosi Musikal yang ada pada Lagu Tenang karya Yura Yunita. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Objek penelitian ini yaitu Sound Effect dan Ekspresi Emosi Musikal. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui tiga metode yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sound Effect yang digunakan dalam lagu ini adalah suara tetesan air yang memiliki arti “tenang” yang berfungsi bukan hanya sebagai penambah suasana tetapi juga sebagai pemberi tempo. Sound Effect dalam lagu ini juga berperan sebagai pendukung suasana lagu. Ekspresi Emosi Musikal yang ada dalam lagu tersebut adalah haru, tegang, dan juga resah yang didukung oleh lirik dan ambience dari lagu Tenang. 

This purpose of the research describe of the Sound Effect and describe how the Expression of Musical Emotions in Yura Yunita's Tenang song. This study used qualitative research methods. The object of this research is Sound Effect and Musical Emotion Expression. Data collection was obtained through three methods, namely observation, interviews, and literature study. The results showed that the Sound Effect used in this song is the sound of water droplets which means "calm" which functions not only as an atmosphere enhancer but also as a tempo giver. Sound Effect in this song also acts as a supporter of the atmosphere of the song. The expression of Musical Emotions in the song is emotional, tense, and also restless which is supported by the lyrics and ambience the song of Tenang.
