Hubungan Beban Kerja dan Dukungan Sosial Atasan dengan Stres Kerja pada Karyawan Divisi Produksi PT. X
The Relationship between Workload and Supervisor Social Support with Work Stress in Employees of the Production Division of PT. X
This study was conducted to determine the relationship between workload and supervisor social support with work stress in employees of the production division of PT. X. Correlational quantitative research method with saturated sample was used in this study. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson product moment and multiple regression. The instruments used were Carga Mental Questionnaire (CarMen-Q), Job Stress Survey (JSS), and Berlin Social Support Scale (BSSS). As a result, workload is strongly and positively related to job stress with a correlation coefficient of 0.669. This means that the higher the workload, the higher the job stress, and vice versa. Supervisor social support is moderately and negatively related to job stress with a correlation coefficient of -0.482. This means that the higher the social support, the lower the job stress, and vice versa. Simultaneously, workload and supervisor social support have a strong correlation to job stress with a correlation coefficient of 0.705. Based on these results, the hypothesis in this study is accepted, namely that there is a relationship between workload and supervisor social support with job stress.
