MIKARAGAM Media Development (Miniature Religious Diversity Train) in Social Studies Learning Materials for Religious Diversity Class IV Elementary School
Media pembelajaran merupakan alat bantu untuk menunjang pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran dan merupakan bagian yang penting. Peneliti melakukan wawancara dengan guru kelas IV SDN Jotosanur II Tikung Lamongan terkait pembelajaran pada materi keberagaman agama, ditinjau dari permasalahan di lapangan, peneliti memilik suatu alternatif untuk mengatasi keterbatasan permasalahan dalam materi keberagaman agama dalam kegiatan pembelajaran muatan IPS, yaitu dengan membuat inovasi pada media pembelajaran. Media yang dikembangkan yaitu MIKARAGAM (Miniatur Kereta Api Keberagaman Agama). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan media MIKARAGAM (Miniatur Kereta Api Keberagaman Agama) dalam pembelajaran IPS materi keberagaman agama kelas IV Sekolah Dasar dan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan media MIKARAGAM (Miniatur Kereta Api Keberagaman Agama) dalam pembelajaran IPS materi keberagaman agama kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Peneliti menggunakan metode yang dikembangkan oleh ADDIE dalam mengembangkan penelitian ini. Tahapan yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dalam mengembangkan produk media MIKARAGAM dengan menggunakan model ADDIE, yaitu : analyze, design, development, implementation, dan evaluate. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan secara terbatas dikarenakan masih terjadi pandemi COVID-19, sehingga responden yang diambil sebanyak 8 orang, yang merupakan siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar dari sekitar lingkungan tempat tinggal peneliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media MIKARAGAM dinyatakan sangat valid, dengan dibuktikan hasil validasi materi sebesar 82% dan validas media sebesar 85%. Hasil kepraktisan media menunjukkan bahwa media MIKARAGAM dinyatakan sangat praktis, dengan dibuktikan hasil respon siswa sebesar 92,5%. Media MIKARAGAM dinyatakan efektif dalam penggunaan pembelajaran IPS, ditinjau dari hasil pretest dan posttest siswa. Hasil yang diperoleh dihitung menggunakan rumuus N-Gain dan diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,8%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media MIKARAGAM (Miniatur Kereta Api Keberagaman Agama) baik digunakan untk siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi keberagaman agama.

Learning media is a tool to support the implementation of the learning process and is an important part.
Reseachers conducted interviews with grade IV teacher at SDN Jotosanur II Tikung Lamongan related to
learning on religious diversity material, in terms of problems in the field, reserchers chose an alternative
to overcome the limitations of problems in material on religious diversity in scial studies content learning
activities, namely by making innovations in learning media. The media developed was MIKARAGAM
(Miniature Religious Diversity Train). The purpose of this research is to describe the feasibility of
MIKARAGAM (Miniature Religious Diversity Train) media in social studies learning material on 4eligious
diversity in grade IV elementary schools and to describe the effectiveness of MIKARAGAM media
(Miniature Religiouse Diversity Train) in social studies learning material on religiouse diversity in grade
IV elementary schools. Researchs used the method developed by ADDIE in developing this research. The
steps taken by researchs in developing MIKARAGAM media products using the ADDIE model are :
analyze, design, development, implementation, and evalate. This research was carried out in a limited
manner due to the COVID-19 pandemic still occurring, so that the respondents wee taken as many as 8
people, who were grade IV elementary school students from around the researcher’s neighborhood. The
results showed that the MIKARAGAM media was declared very valid, as evidenced by the validation of the
material by 82% and the validity of the media by 85%. The results of the practicality of the media show
that the MIKARAGAM media is stated to be very practical, as evidenced by the results of student responses
of 92,5%. MIKAARGAM media is declared effective in the use of social studies learning, in terms of the
results of the student’ pretest and posttest. The results obtained were calculated using the N-Gain formula
and obtained a value of 0,8%. It can be concluded that the MIKAARGAM (Miniature Religious Diversity Train) media is good for use for fourth grade elementary school students in improving student learning out
comes on diversity material.
