Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) menganalisis apakah guru telah melaksanakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning, 2) menganalisis capaian hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran Problem Based Learning, 3) menganalisis respon peserta didik terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada siklus I memperoleh presentase sebesar 86% dengan kriteria “sangat baik” dan meningkat pada siklus II dengan memperoleh presentase sebesar 95% dengan kriteria “sangat baik”. Hasil belajar peserta didik pada siklus I belum mencapai ketuntasan klasikal dengan presentase sebesar 74%, dan pada siklus II mencapai ketuntasan klasikal dengan presentase 83%. Respon peserta didik terhadap penerapan model Problem Based Learning pada siklus I memperoleh presentase sebesar 80% dengan kriteria “memahami”, dan pada siklus II memperoleh presentase sebesar 85% dengan kriteria “sangat memahami”. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik materi persediaan kelas XI AKL SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya.
This research aimed to 1) analyze whether the teacher has implemented the Problem Based Learning model, 2) analyze the achievement of learning outcomes in implementation of Problem Based Learning model, 3) analyze the responses of students in implementation of Problem Based Learning models. This study used Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles.
The results showed that the implementation of Problem Based Learning model in cycle I got 86% with “very good” criteria and increased in cycle II by getting 95% with “very good” citeria. Student learning outcomes in cycle I have not reached classical completeness, which is 78%, and in cycle II reached classical completeness, which is 83%. Responses of students in cycle I got 80% with “understanding” criteria and in cycle II got 85% with “very understanding” criteria. So, it can be concluded that the implementation of Problem Based Learning model can increase student learning outcome on inventory lesson class XI AKL in 1 Vocation High School Surabaya.
