Evaluation of School Literacy Program in Elementary School Surabaya

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data secara empiris tentang pelaksanaan program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) di sekolah dasar di Kota Surabaya, Jawa Timur. Pada penelitian ini merupakan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan fokus dari pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif mengukur keberhasilan program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) dengan menggunakan model CIPP. Penelitian ini menggunakan probability sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan angket untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian mengenai evaluasi program literasi model CIPP (context, input, process, product) di Kota Surabaya menunjukkan: (1) Hasil evaluasi konteks sekolah dasar di Kota Surabaya menunjukkan bahwa keadaan lingkungan terkait sarana dan prasarana sudah baik. Tujuan pada tahap ini yaitu untuk memotivasi siswa agar gemar membaca serta meningkatkan ilmu pengetahuan dalam dunia Pendidikan. (2) Hasil evaluasi masukan sekolah dasar di Kota Surabaya menunjukkan pelaksanaan program GLS berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik. (3) Hasil evaluasi proses yaitu proses mengevaluasi prosedur dalam melaksanakan GLS yang terdiri dari pelaksaan tahap pembiasaan, tahap pengembangan, dan tahap pembelajaran. Pada dasarnya evaluasi proses dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses literasi telah berjalan dan menilai komponen apa yang perlu diperbaiki. Hasil pelaksanaan GLS Sekolah dasar Kota Surabaya menunjukkan pada tahap ini berada pada kualifikasi baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penilaian tahap pembiasaan, penilaian tahap pengembangan, dan penilaian tahap pembelajaran sudah sesuai dengan alur dan petunjuk pelaksanaan untuk mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. (4) Hasil evaluasi produk pelaksanaan GLS berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil penilaian Luaran Program GLS sudah mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan.

This study aims to obtain empirical data about the implementation of the School Literacy (GLS) program in elementary schools in Surabaya, East Java. This research is a descriptive quantitative research with a focus on a descriptive quantitative approach to measure the success of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) program using the CIPP model. This study uses probability sampling. This study used a questionnaire to collect research data.

Based on the results of research on the evaluation of the CIPP model literacy program (context, input, process, product) in the city of Surabaya, it shows: (1) The results of the evaluation of the context of elementary schools in the city of Surabaya indicate that the environmental conditions related to facilities and infrastructure are good. The goal at this stage is to motivate students to love reading and improve knowledge in the world of education. (2) The results of the evaluation of primary school input in the City of Surabaya show that the implementation of the GLS program is in very good qualifications. (3) The result of the evaluation process is the process of evaluating the procedures for implementing GLS which consists of implementing the habituation stage, the development stage, and the learning stage. Basically, process evaluation is carried out to find out how the literacy process has been running and to assess what components need to be improved. The results of the implementation of GLS in elementary schools in Surabaya show that at this stage they are in good qualifications. This indicates that the assessment of the habituation stage, the assessment of the development stage, and the assessment of the learning stage are in accordance with the flow and implementation instructions to achieve predetermined goals. (4) The results of the product evaluation of the implementation of GLS are in very good qualifications. This shows that the results of the GLS Program Output assessment have achieved the expected objectives.
