The application of a mindset with higher
order thinking skills or HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) is urgently needed
in Vocational Schools in order to be competitive in the 21st century global
education era. Given these conditions, educators are required to develop
HOTS-based learning assessment instruments supported by the help of media. to
facilitate learning assessment activities. Therefore, this study aims to
develop HOTS-based assessment media assisted by classpoint applications in
Islamic financial institution services subjects at SMKN 2 Mojokerto city.
The development of this learning assessment
instrument was developed using the ADDIE development model which includes the
analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The
subject of this research trial was class XII-Sharia Banking Services at SMKN 2
Kota Mojokerto. The research instruments used were study sheets and graphic
expert validation sheets, expert evaluation and validation study sheets and
student response questionnaires. The results of the data were analyzed
quantitatively with percentages.
Based on the research results, it was
obtained a result of 91.60% with a very proper rating category from graphic
experts and evaluation experts. The results obtained by graphic experts were
89.75% and evaluation experts were 93.46%. Meanwhile, the percentage of scores
obtained from students' responses to the assessment media was 97.10% with a
very decent assessment category. According to the results of the limited trial,
there was a good response from students towards the classpoint
application-assisted assessment media and made it easier for students to do
learning assessment activities. Therefore, the HOTS-based assessment media
assisted by the classpoint application can be declared feasible by obtaining
final results with an average percentage of ≥ 61%.
