THE FUNCTION AND MEANING OF ~TTEBAYO AND ~TTEBASA YAKUWARIGO TYPES OF CHARA GOBI IN THE FILM BORUTO : NARUTO THE MOVIE BY MASASHI KISHIMOTO

Abstrak

                Film Boruto : Naruto the Movie adalah salah satu dari sekuel anime Naruto yang popular di masyarakat khususnya pelajar. Karya populer ini merupakan karya dari mangaka terkenal di Jepang yaitu Masashi Kishimoto. Dalam film ini ada hal-hal menarik salah satunya gaya bicara dari tokoh utama dalam film. Gaya bicara dalam sebuah karya fiksi ini disebut Yakuwarigo (役割語) atau biasa disebut sebagai bahasa peran. Salah satu yakuwarigo yang muncul dalam film Naruto ini disebut chara gobi (キャラ語尾). Chara gobi adalah cara bicara khas yang hanya digunakan oleh karakter tertentu dalam karya fiksi, berfungsi untuk mempermudah pembaca atau pendengar membayangkan karakter fiksi tersebut. Pada film Boruto, yang termasuk chara gobi adalah kata ~ttebayo dan ~ttebasa. Kata tersebut merupakan cara bicara khas oleh Naruto dan Boruto. Letaknya yang berada di akhir kalimat menandakan bahwa ~ttebayo dan ~ttebasa adalah partikel atau joshi (助詞) jenis shuujoshi (終助詞). Disebut sebagai shuujoshi karena memiliki fungsi yang sama seperti shuujoshi yo dan sa, salah satu fungsinya adalah menekankan sebuah pernyataan. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan fungsi dan makna dari ~ttebayo dan ~ttebasa serta menjelaskan kontruksi ~ttebayo dan ~ttebasa dalam sebuah kalimat.            

             Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dimana data direkam kemudian diklasifikasikan berdasarkan kalimat yang mengandung ~ttebayo dan ~ttebasa dan kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan fungsi, makna, beserta kontruksi penggunaannya pada sebuah kalimat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ~ttebayo dan ~ttebasa merupakan gabungan dari ~tteba dan yo atau sa. Dimana ~tteba adalah shuujoshi yang berfungsi sebagai partikel penghubung kata satu dengan kata yang lain, dan juga memiliki fungsi sebagai penekanan sebuah kaimat. Sehingga ~ttebayo dan ~ttebasa sebagai shuujosi yo dan sa pada sebuah kalimat berfungsi untuk menekankan sebuah pernyataan sebagai bentuk untuk menyalurkan ekspresi, perasaan emosi, ejekan, kritik, tanggapan, serta untuk menekankan sebuah permohonan atau permintaan pada lawan bicara. Dalam komtruksi pembentukan pola kalimat, apabila sebelum ~ttebayo dan ~ttebasa terdapat nomina (名詞) atau adjektiva bentuk Na-keiyoshi (Na-形容詞) maka setelah nomina dan adjektiva ditambahkan kopula da (だ). Namun apabila sebelumnya terdapat kata kerja bentuk biasa (futsuukei) atau adjektiva bentuk I-keiyoshi (I-形容詞) maka setelahnya tidak ditambahkan kopula da (だ). Kalimat yang mengandung chara gobi tidak dapat digunakan dalam percakapan sehari-hari.

Abstract

            Boruto: Naruto the Movie is the one of Naruto's anime sequels that popular in the community, especially learners. This movie is written by Masashi Kishimoto, one of famous mangaka in Japan. In this movie there are famous style of speech from the main characters. The speech style in this fiction is called Yakuwarigo (役割語) or commonly referred to as role language. One of the yakuwarigo that appears in this film is called chara gobi (キャラ語尾). Chara gobi is a distinctive way of speaking that is only used by certain characters in the fiction, to make it easier for the reader or listener to imagine about fictional character in the fictional movies. One of the famous chara gobi (キャラ語尾) in this movie are the word of ~ttebayo and ~ttebasa. This words is a style of speech by Naruto and Boruto. This words is placed at the end of the sentence indicates that this words is a part of joshi (助詞), which is type of shuujoshi (終助詞). This words ia a part of shuujoshi because it has the same function as shuujoshi yo and sa, one of its functions is to emphasize a statement. Therefore, this research aims to explain the function and meaning of ~ttebayo and ~ttebasa and explain the construction of ~ttebayo and ~ttebasa in a sentence.

            This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method, the data is recorded and then classified based on sentences containing ~ttebayo and ~ttebasa and then analyzed based on function, meaning, along with the construction of its use in a sentence. The results of this research indicate that ~ttebayo and ~ttebasa are a combination of ~tteba and yo or sa. Which is ~tteba is a shuujoshi that functions as a particle connecting words to one and others, and also has a function as an emphasis on a sentence. So that function ~ttebayo and ~ttebasa as shuujosi yo and sa in a sentence is to emphasize a statement as a form to channel expression, emotional feelings, ridicule, criticism, response, and to emphasize a request or request to the other person. In the construction of sentence pattern formation, if ~ttebayo and ~ttebasa placed after noun (名詞) or an adjective Na-keiyoshi (Na-形容詞), therefore between noun or adjective and particle must add copula da (だ). However, if there was a regular form of a verb (futsuukei) or an I-keiyoshi (I-形容詞) adjective before that, the copula da (だ) was not added after it. Sentences that containing chara gobi cannot be used in daily conversation.
