Kearsipan merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran dari program keahlian Otomatisasi dan Tata Kelola Perkantoran yang mempelajari tentang ilmu arsip. Salah satu diantaranya adalah kompetensi dasar menerapkan prosedur penggunaan peralatan kearsipan dengan materi pokok macam-macam peralatan kearsipan. Siswa dituntut untuk mengetahui peralatan kearsipan yang digunakan. Untuk mendukung kegiatan pembelajaran, penggunaan media pembelajaran diperlukan dalam pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengembangan media pembelajaran, mengukur kelayakan media pembelajaran, serta respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran Crossword Puzzle pada materi pokok macam-macam peralatan kearsipan di kelas X OTKP 2 SMKN 1 Surabaya yang telah dikembangkan.
Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan, dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D, yaitu pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebarluasan. Tetapi pada penelitian ini akan dibatasi sampai tahap pengembangan. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 20 siswa di kelas X OTKP 2 SMKN 1 Surabaya. Adapun instrumen penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi ahli materi, lembar validasi ahli media, dan angket respons siswa. Hasil persentase dari ahli materi sebesar 89% dengan kriteria sangat kuat, hasil persentase dari ahli media sebesar 93% dengan kriteria sangat kuat, dan hasil persentase respons siswa sebesar 91% dengan kriteria sangat kuat. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Crossword Puzzle layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Archiving is one of the subjects of the Office of Automation and Governance expertise program that studies archive science. One of them is the basic competency in implementing procedures for using archival equipment with the subject matter of various types of filing equipment. Students are required to know the archival equipment used. To support learning activities, the use of learning media is needed in learning that is tailored to the needs of students. This study aims to analyze the development of instructional media, measure the feasibility of learning media, and student responses to Crossword Puzzle learning media in the subject matter of various archival equipment in class X OTKP 2 of SMKN 1 Surabaya which has been developed.
This research is a type of research and development, using a 4-D development model, namely defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. But this research will be limited to the development stage. The research subjects were 20 students in class X OTKP 2 of SMK 1 Surabaya. The research instruments are material expert validation sheets, media expert validation sheets, and student response questionnaires. The results of the percentage of material experts were 89% with very strong criteria, the results of the percentage of media experts were 93% with very strong criteria, and the results of the percentage of student responses were 91% with very strong criteria. So that it can be concluded that the Crossword Puzzle learning media is worthy of being used in the learning process.
