Ensiklopedia elektronik interaktif dikembangkan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran berbasis elektronik berlandaskan pada teori Piaget salah satunya yaitu pembelajaran aktif yang penerapannya saat ini didukung dengan instruksi connectivism menggunakan teknologi berbasis jaringan. Materi yang digunakan yaitu submateri arthropoda dengan karakteristik materi yang luas. Capaian Kompetensi Dasar (KD) arthropoda ini erat kaitannya dengan indikator pemahaman konsep. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan ensiklopedia elektronik interaktif dengan strategi pembelajaran berbasis elektronik untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep submateri arthropoda yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model pengembangan R&D (Research and Development). Validitas dinilai melalui lembar validasi, kepraktisan dinilai berdasarkan aktivitas dan respons peserta didik, serta keefektifan dinilai berdasarkan peningkatan pemahaman konsep daneningkatan tiap indikator pemahaman konsep. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Fitur yang dikembangkan yiatu biomore, biosoal, biofact, bio+, biomals. Hasil validasi menunjukkan ensiklopedia elektronik interaktif dinilai sangat valid dengan skor 3,90 dengan kriteria sangat valid. Kepraktisan ensiklopedia elektronik berdasarkan aktivitas peserta didik menunjukkan persentase sebesar 96,66%, serta kepraktisan ensiklopedia elektronik berdasarkan respons peserta didik menunjukkan persentase sebesar 98,66%. Keefektifan ensiklopedia elektronik interaktif berdasarkan peningkatan pemahaman konsep peserta didik dengan gain score sebesar 0,74. Serta berkategori tinggi berdasarkan peningkatan tiap indikator pemahaman konsep peserta didik dengan gain score sebesar 0,73. The interactive electronic encyclopedia was developed using electronic based learning strategies based on Piaget’s theory, one of which was active learning, whose application was currently supported by connectivism instructions using network-based technology. The material used was arthropod with extensive material characteristic. Achievement of Basic Competencies of arthropods is closely related to indicators of understanding concepts. The purpose of this research was to produce a valid interactive electronic encyclopedia with electronic-based learning strategies to improve understanding the concept of arthropod submersion. This study was a developmental research which refered to R & D model (Research and Development). Validity was assessed through a validation sheet, practicality based on the activities and responses of students, and effectiveness based on increasing concepts understanding and increasing each indicator of concepts understanding. Data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Features developed by biomore, biosoal, biofact, bio +, biomals. Validation results show an interactive electronic encyclopedia is considered very valid with a score of 3.90 with very valid criteria. The practicality of the electronic encyclopedia based on student activities shows a percentage of 96.81%, as well as the practicality of electronic encyclopedias based on student responses showing a percentage of 98.66%. The effectiveness of an interactive electronic encyclopedia based on an increase in students' understanding of concepts with a gain score of 0.74. As well as high category based on an increase in each indicator of conceptual understanding of students with a gain score of 0.73.
