Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Kartu Bergambar untuk pembelajaran menulis huruf kapital. Jenis penelitan yang digunakan yakni penelitian pengembangan model ASSURE yang melalui enam tahapan yakni Analyze Learner Characteristic, State Standart and Objectives, Select Strategis, Technology, Media and Materials, Utrilize Media and Materials, Require Learner Participation, dan Evaluate and Revise. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik validasi, angket dan nilai pre-test post-test. Validitas media kartu bergambar diperoleh melalui hasil validasi ahli materi dan ahli media. Hasil validasi ahli materi mendapatkan persentase sebesar 84% dengan kategori sangat valid atau layak digunakan. Sedangkan hasil dari validasi ahli media mendapatkan persentase sebesar 95% dengan kategori sangat valid dan layak digunakan. Kepraktisan media diperoleh dari angket respon pendidik dan peserta didik. Pada hasil angket respon pendidik menunjukkan persentase sebesar 88% dengan kategori sangat praktis, sedangkan hasil angket respon siswa menunjukkan dalam uji coba skala terbatas mendapat persentase sebesar 95,33%, sedangkan dalam uji coba besar mendapat persentase sebesar 92,92%, kedua besaran persentase tersebut masuk dalam kategori sangat praktis. Hasil efektivitas media kartu bergambar iii diperoleh melalui uji coba dengan pengambilan nilai pre-test dan post-test yang dilakukan pada uji coba terbatas dan uji coba besar dengan menggunakan hitungan n-Gain. Hasil efektivitas pada uji coba terbatas mendapatkan nilai n-Gain sebesar 0,43, sedangkan pada uji coba besar mendapatkan nilai n-Gain sebesar 0,54. Dengan didapatnya nilai tersebut dapat dinyatakan bahwa media kartu bergambar efektif untuk penggunaan dalam pembelajaran. berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa media kartu bergambar untuk pembelajaran menulis huruf kapital di kelas I sekolah dasar valid, praktis, dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran di kelas.

This development research aims to develop Picture Card learning media for learning to write capital letters. The type of research used is ASSURE model development research which goes through six stages namely Analyze Learner Characteristic, State Standards and Objectives, Select Strategic, Technology, Media and Materials, Utrilize Media and Materials, Require Learner Participation, and Evaluate and Revise. Data collection was carried out using validation techniques, questionnaires and pre-test post-test scores. The validity of picture card media is obtained through the validation results of material experts and media experts. The results of the material expert validation get a percentage of 84% with a very valid category or worth using. While the results of the media expert validation get a percentage of 95% with a very valid and feasible category to use. The practicality of the media is obtained from the response questionnaire of educators and students. The results of the educator response questionnaire showed a percentage of 88% with a very practical category, while the results of the student response questionnaire showed that in the limited scale trial it got a percentage of 95.33%, while in the large trial it got a percentage of 92.92%, both of these percentages were included in the very practical category. The results of the effectiveness of picture card media were obtained through trials by taking pre-test and post-test scores conducted in limited trials and large trials using n-Gain calculations. The v effectiveness results in the limited trial obtained an n-Gain value of 0.43, while in the large trial obtained an n-Gain value of 0.54. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the picture card media for learning to write capital letters in grade I elementary school is valid, practical, and effective for use in classroom learning.
