In
the context of village development, the role of women has become a topic of
discussion that is increasingly receiving attention in various development
planning forums. Active participation and involvement of women in the
development decision-making process is an important key to achieving
sustainable and inclusive development. However, the level of women's
participation in the Village Development Planning Conference (Musrenbang Desa)
in Kalisource Village, Tambakrejo District, Bojonegoro Regency still requires
further research. Based on Law no. 7 of 1984 concerning the Elimination of
Discrimination against Women, the importance of women's involvement and
empowerment in development decision making is the main focus. This law
encourages women to have equal opportunities to actively participate in forums
such as the Village Forum, with the aim of creating gender equality and
ensuring that women's perspectives are accommodated in the development planning
process. Through research conducted, the results show that the level of women's
involvement in Village Forums in the Kalisource, Tambakrejo, Bojonegoro areas
is very good. Women actively contribute to discussions and decision making,
providing ideas, opinions and aspirations of the community which form the basis
for formulating village development policies and programs. In conclusion, the
level of women's involvement in the Village Development Planning Forum in the
Kalisource, Tambakrejo, Bojonegoro areas is quite high. This is in line with
the spirit of the law which encourages the empowerment of women and eliminates
discrimination against them. Women's active participation in this forum makes a
significant contribution in formulating development policies and programs that
are more inclusive and gender equitable.
