Implementasi Model Sorogan-Bandongan untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik pada Materi Asam Basa
Implementation of the Sorogan-Bandongan Model to Improve Students' Learning Outcomes on Acid-Base Materials
Penelitian ini merupakan penerapan model pembelajaran Sorogan-Bandongan pada materi asam basa. Model pembelajarn Sorogan-Bandongan merupakan model pembelajaran individual yang diklasikalkan. Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi asam basa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan model Sorogan-Bandongan. Subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas XI-IPA di Jawa Timur. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pra-eksperimen dengan One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar pretest, tes diagnostik dan posttest. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Langkah-langkah model pembelajaran Sorogan-Bandongan yang dilaksanakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik membaca dan mengerjakan tugas pada handout, tes diagnostik, penjelasan materi, peserta didik mengerjakan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (Sorogan), diskusi kelas penguatan materi (Bandongan) dan tes akhir. Hasil tes diagnostik menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata 69% peserta didik kesulitan dalam memahami teori asam basa, 83% peserta didik kesulitan dalam kekuatan asam basa, dan 66% kesulitan dalam indikator asam basa. Data penelitian berupa nilai N-gain rata-rata sebesar 0,60 dengan kriteria sedang. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran SoroganBandongan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi asam basa. Hasil tes akhir (posttest) peserta didik juga telah melampaui KKM. Pada penelitian ini direkomendasikan bahwa model pembelajaran Sorogan-Bandongan dapat diimplementasikan pada pembelajaran kimia.

This research is the application of the Sorogan-Bandongan learning model on acid-base materials. The Sorogan-Bandongan learning model is a classicized individual learning model. The purpose of the study was to improve student learning outcomes on acid-base material after participating in learning using the Sorogan-Bandongan model. The research subjects were students of class XI-IPA in East Java. The type of research used is pre-experiment with One-Group PretestPosttest Design. The instruments used are pretest sheets, diagnostic tests and posttests. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative. The steps of the Sorogan-Bandongan learning model carried out in this study were students reading and doing assignments on handouts, diagnostic tests, explanations of material, students working on Student Worksheets (Sorogan), class discussions on strengthening material (Bandongan) and final tests. . The results of the diagnostic test showed that on average 69% of students had difficulty in understanding acid-base theory, 83% of students had difficulty in acidbase strength, and 66% had difficulty in acid-base indicators. The research data is in the form of an average N-gain value of 0.60 with moderate criteria. This shows that the Sorogan-Bandongan learning model can improve student learning outcomes on acid-base material. The results of the final test (posttest) of students have also exceeded the KKM. In this study, it is recommended that the Sorogan-Bandongan learning model can be implemented in chemistry learning.
