Implementasi Program Parenting Untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Orang Tua Dalam Mengasuh Anak di RA Yaa Bunayya Kecamatan Srengat, Kabupaten Blitar
IMPLEMENTATION OF PARENTING PROGRAM TO IMPROVE PARENTS’ MOTIVATION IN RAISING CHILDREN IN RA YAA BUNAYYA, SRENGAT DISTRICT, BLITAR REGENCY
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya keterlibatan orang tua dalam proses pengasuhan anak usia dini sebagai fondasi utama dalam pembentukan karakter, sikap, dan perilaku anak. RA Yaa Bunayya Kecamatan Srengat, Kabupaten Blitar, menyelenggarakan program parenting guna mendukung peran orang tua dalam memberikan pengasuhan yang positif dan menyenangkan. Namun, dalam pelaksanaannya masih ditemukan beberapa kendala seperti kurangnya motivasi, pengetahuan, serta partisipasi orang tua dalam kegiatan tersebut. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi program parenting yang dilaksanakan di RA Yaa Bunayya dalam upaya meningkatkan motivasi orang tua dalam mengasuh anak.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, guru, dan orang tua peserta didik, observasi terhadap kegiatan parenting seperti home visit, outing class, konsultasi, serta lomba-lomba yang melibatkan orang tua, dan dokumentasi pelaksanaan program. Data dianalisis melalui proses kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Fokus utama dalam penelitian ini adalah sejauh mana pelaksanaan kegiatan parenting mampu membangkitkan semangat dan kesadaran orang tua dalam menjalankan tanggung jawab pengasuhan secara lebih optimal.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program parenting di RA Yaa Bunayya telah berjalan dengan cukup baik dan memberikan dorongan positif terhadap keterlibatan orang tua. Kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilaksanakan mendorong tumbuhnya semangat baru dalam mendampingi anak, baik di rumah maupun dalam kegiatan sekolah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa implementasi program parenting mampu menciptakan sinergi antara pihak sekolah dan orang tua dalam membangun lingkungan pengasuhan yang mendukung perkembangan anak. Saran yang diberikan antara lain perlunya pelatihan lanjutan untuk orang tua, peningkatan konsistensi evaluasi program, serta penguatan kerja sama antara guru, wali murid, dan pihak yayasan agar program ini terus berjalan secara berkesinambungan.
This research is motivated by the importance of parental involvement in the early childhood parenting process as a fundamental foundation in shaping children's character, attitudes, and behavior. RA Yaa Bunayya, located in Srengat District, Blitar Regency, organizes a parenting program to support parents' roles in providing positive and enjoyable parenting. However, several challenges are still encountered in its implementation, such as a lack of motivation, knowledge, and parental participation in the activities. Therefore, this study aims to describe the implementation of the parenting program conducted at RA Yaa Bunayya as an effort to increase parents' motivation in raising their children.
This study employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through interviews with the school principal, teachers, and parents, as well as observations of parenting activities such as home visits, outing classes, consultations, and family-involved competitions. Documentation of the program's implementation was also analyzed. The analysis process included data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The study seeks to illustrate how the execution of parenting activities can foster parents' enthusiasm and awareness in carrying out their child-rearing responsibilities more effectively.
The findings indicate that the parenting program at RA Yaa Bunayya has been running quite well and has provided a positive boost to parental involvement. The activities carried out have encouraged a renewed sense of enthusiasm among parents in accompanying their children both at home and during school events. The study concludes that the implementation of the parenting program has successfully fostered synergy between the school and parents in creating a nurturing environment that supports children's development. Recommendations include the need for continued training for parents, more consistent program evaluations, and stronger collaboration among teachers, parents, and the school foundation to ensure the program’s sustainability.
