This
study discusses the effect of differentiated learning based on problem based
learning and lumio learning media on critical thinking skills in class X
history subjects at MAN 1 Jombang. This research departs from the problem of
the low ability of students in learning history, less active and enthusiastic
in participating in learning, and learning history is still often centered on
educators as a source of learning (teacher centered), this is due to the lack
of variety of strategies, models, and learning media applied by educators
during classroom learning. This study has the following objectives: explain the
effect of differentiated learning based on problem based learning on students
critical thinking skills, explain the effect of lumio learning media on
students critical thinking skills, explain the relationship between
differentiated learning based on problem based learning and lumio learning
media, explain the effect of differentiated learning based on problem based
learning and lumio learning media on students critical thinking skills. This
study uses a Quasi Experimental Design with a type of Nonequivalent Control
Group Design in the form of a pretest-posttest
so that it requires a control class and an experimental class, for the
control class using class X-E and the experimental class using class X-G. The
data analysisi techniques used are multiple linear regression tests, partial
correlation tests, and F tests. Based on the results of multiple linear
regression tests, it shows that the significance value of variable X1 is 0,008
< 0,05 with t count 2,804 > t table 2,304, so H0 is rejected and Ha is
accepted, it can be concluded that there is an effect of differentiated
learning based on problem based learning on students critical thinking skills.
While the significance value of variable X2 is 0,009 < 0,05 with t count
2,758 > t table 2,034, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, it can be
concluded that there is an effect of lumio learning media on students critical
thinking skills. Furthermore, the partial correlation test results show that
the significance value is 0,019 < 0,05 with r count 0,388 > r table
0,329, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, it can be concluded that there is
a relationship between differentiated learning based on problem based learning
and lumio learning media. The F test shows a significance value of 0,000 <
0,05 with F count 12,637 > F table 3,285, so H0 is rejected and Ha is
accepted, it can be concluded that there is an effect of differentiated
learning based on problem based learning and lumio learning media on students
critical thinking skills.
