The Effect of Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance through Work Engagement in PT. Gearindo Prakarsa Surabaya
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisi pengeruh job satisfaction terhadap employee performance melalui work engagement pada PT. Gearindo Prakarsa Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan jenis sampel jenuh, dimana seluruh populasi menjadi sampel dengan jumlah sebanyak 67 responden. Analisis statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Structural Equation Model – Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) dengan software SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa job satisfaction berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee performance. Job satisfaction berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap work engagement. Work engagement berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee performance. Pada analisis pengaruh tidak langsung work engagement mampu memediasi pengaruh antara job satisfaction terhadap employee performance.
This research aims to test and analyze the influence of job satisfaction on employee performance through work engagement at PT. Gearindo Prakarsa Surabaya. This research uses quantitative methods. The sampling technique uses non-probability sampling with a saturated sample type, where the entire population is sampled with a total of 67 respondents. The statistical analysis used in this research is Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this research explain that job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on work engagement. Work engagement has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. In the analysis of the indirect effect of work engagement, it is able to mediate the influence of job satisfaction on employee performance.
