Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis proses pembelajaran teaching factory SMESA Education Hotel (EDOTEL) dan kendala yang dihadapi serta solusi dalam implementasi teaching factory SMESA EDOTEL untuk menanamkan jiwa kewirausahaan siswa pada program keahlian Akomodasi Perhotelan di SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini yakni Waka Kurikulum, Ketua Program Keahlian Akomodasi Perhotelan, Kepala Laboratorium Program Keahlian Akomodasi Perhotelan, Pengelola Hotel, Guru Produktif Perhotelan dan Siswa program keahlian Akomodasi Perhotelan di SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Pengecekan keabsahan data meliputi uji kredibilitas menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik, membercheck, uji transferabilitas, uji dependabilitas, dan uji konfirmabilitas. Teknik analisis data meliputi kondensasi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian adalah proses pembelajaran teaching factory SMESA Education Hotel (EDOTEL) SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya dilakukan pada tiga departemen, yakni Front Office, Housekeeping, dan Food and Beverage. Pembelajaran praktik kerja yang dilaksanakan menerapkan model TF-6M. Kegiatan tersebut dapat berkontribusi dalam menghasilkan siswa yang berjiwa kewirausahaan dengan melibatkan siswa secara langsung dalam keseluruhan proses pembelajaran. Kendala implementasi teaching factory SMESA EDOTEL antara lain kendala internal pada siswa, kurangnya SDM dan suasana pembelajaran produktif yang kurang kondusif. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk meminimalisasi kendala antara lain, melakukan pendekatan dengan siswa, merekrut pegawai dan mendirikan mini hotel untuk pembelajaran produktif.

The aim of this study is to describe and analyze the learning process of teaching factory SMESA Education Hotel (EDOTEL) and the obstacles faced and solutions in implementing of teaching factory SMESA EDOTEL to instilling student’s entrepreneurship in hotel accommodation program at SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The subjects of this study were Curriculum Values, Head of Accommodation Hotel Program, Head of Laboratorium Accommodation Hotel Program, Manager of Hotel, Productive Teacher, and Student Accommodation Hotel Program at SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya. The technique of collecting data uses observation, interviews, and documentation. Checking the validity of the data includes the test of credibility with source and technique triangulation, membercheck, transferability test, dependency test, and confirmability test. The technique of data analysis are data condensation, data display, dan conslusion drawing/verification. The results are, the learning process of teaching factory SMESA Education Hotel (EDOTEL) SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya performed in three department, are Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food and Beverage. Learning of work practice implemented TF-6M model. These activities can contribute to instilling student’s entrepreneurship by involving students directly in the entire learning process. Constraints implementation of teaching factory SMESA EDOTEL include, internal constraints on students, lack of human resources, and productive learning environment that is not conducive. Efforts made to minimize obstacles include, aprroach on students, recruit employees and buid a mini hotel for productive learning.Keywords: Teaching Factory, Education Hotel, Entrepreneurship
