Abstrak
Media
pembelajaran memiliki peranan penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Pemilihan
media yang tepat akan menghasilkan proses pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan
efisien dalam mencapai tujuan, karena media mempunyai berbagai kelebihan antara
lain membuat konsep yang abstrak dan kompleks menjadi sesuatu yang nyata, sederhana,
sistematis, dan jelas. Selama ini perkuliahan Geologi Struktur khususnya materi
lipatan dan patahan dalam pembelajaran menggunakan media power point yang di
dalamnya terdapat animasi dan video. Kelemahannya mahasiswa hanya dapat
mengamatinya secara sekilas sehingga banyak mahasiswa yang belum memahami
materi yang di jelaskan. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut perlu dikembangkan media
lipatan dan patahan yang dapat menunjang proses pembelajaran dan dapat diamati
setiap saat.
Subjek dalam pengembangan media 3 dimendsi
ini yaitu mahasiswa Prodi S-1 Pendidikan
Geografi Universitas Negeri Surabaya yang telah lulus
mata kuliah Geologi Struktur sebanyak 30 mahasiswa. Penelitian pengembangan ini
menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D (Define,
Design, Develop, Disseminate). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan deskriptif
kuantitatif berdasarkan
hasil validasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi serta
angket respon mahasiswa terhadap media pembelajaran tiga dimensi yang telah
dikembangkan.
Media pembelajaran tiga dimensi materi lipatan dan patahan ini di
validasi oleh validator ahli media dan ahli materi. Hasil skor validasi oleh ahli media yaitu sebesar 93% dan hasil skor
validasi oleh ahli materi yaitu sebesar 91%. Berdasarkan kelayakan pada skala
likert, hasil nilai validasi dari ahli media dan ahli materi
termasuk antara 80%-100% sehingga termasuk
dalam kriteria “sangat layak”. Total hasil repon dari responden mahasiwa mendapat perolehan skor sebesar 93%
sehingga menyatakan “sangat sesuai” sebagai media 3 dimensi materi lipatan dan
patahan mata kuliah Geologi Struktur.

Abstract
Learning media has an important role in learning
process. The selection of the right media will bring in a learning process that
is more effective and efficient in achieving the goal, because the media has
various advantages such as making abstract and complex concept into something
real, simple, systematic, and clear. In the course of the learning process especially
in folds and fault materials of Gologycal Structure lecture, it uses power
point media in wich there are animations and videos. The weakness is that
students just be able to observe at glance so that there are some students do
not understand the material explained. To overcome this problem, it is
necessary to develop folds and faults media that can support the learning
process and can be observedat any time
The subject in this development of 3D media was
students of Geography Education Program of Surabaya State University who have
programmed the Geologycal Structure subject as many as 30 students. This
development research used a 4-D
development model (Define, Design, Develop, Dissaminate). The data
analysis technique used was quantitative descriptive based on the result of
validation by media and material expert and also student response questionaires
to the three-dimensional learning media that had been developed.
This three dimendional media of fold and fault was
validated by media and material expert.the result of the validation score by
media expert were 93% and by the material expert were 91%. Based on the
advisability of likert scale the validation result from nedia and material
expert include between 80% - 100% so that it is included in the “very
appropriate” criteria. The total number fo student response questionaire got a
score 93% and it declared as “very appropriate” for 3 dimensional media of Fold
and Fault material of Geologycal Structure.
