DEVELOPMENT OF 'PENA RAKA' POP-UP BOOK MEDIA IN PLANTING MORAL AND CHARACTER EDUCATION IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS
Pengajaran karakter pancasila di Sekolah Dasar kebanyakan menggunkan media pembelajaran cetak seperti buku modul, LKS dan lain sebagainya. Bahan ajar tersebut dirasa kurang efektif untuk memancing keingintahuan siswa dan menimbulkan kesan monoton. Sedangkan kondisi saat ini, literasi yang diterapkan pada pembelajaran di sekolah nampaknya masih menjadi permasalahan serius yang belum terselesaikan, karena bahan bacaan yang ada tidak membimbing siswa ke ranah yang lebih baik, secara ilmu atau moral, sebab bacaan yang dibaca oleh siswa dianggap membosankan, karena tidak adanya hal yang menarik dan menggugah minat baca siswa. Penggunaan Pop-Up Book sebagai media pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar merupakan solusi dalam upaya mempercepat pemahaman siswa karena media dapat menarik perhatian dan minat siswa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Metode dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode jenis Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) oleh Dick & Carry. Pada penelitian ini tidak dilakukan tahap implementasi dikarenakan situasi pandemi Covid-19. Pengembangan Media ini dianggap layak dan dapat dgunakan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Hal ini diketahui dari hasil validasi oleh ahli materi sebesar 92,9% dan ahli media sebesar 95,6% dengan predikat dapat digunakan tanpa memerlukan revisi.
The education Program aims to develop the potential of children to become a man of faith and devoted to God Almighty, noble, healthy, knowledgeable, skilled, creative, independent, and become citizens of a democratic and responsible. The teaching of pancasila character in Elementary School most of the using learning media print such as the book of modules, worksheets and so forth. Teaching materials is considered less effective to provoke the curiosity of students and give the impression monotonous. While the current conditions, the literacy applied to teaching and learning in schools still seems to be a serious problem that is unresolved, because of the reading material that there are not guiding students into the realm that is better, science or moral, because the readings are read by the student is considered boring, because of the absence of things that are interesting and arouse students ' interest in reading. The use of Pop-Up Book as a medium of learning in primary Schools is a solution in the effort to accelerate the understanding of the students because the media can draw the attention and interest of students in learning activities. The method in this research is a method the type of Research and Development (R&D) with the model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) by Dick & Carry. In this study, not carried out the implementation phase due to a pandemic situation Covid-19. Media development is considered feasible and can be used in teaching and learning activities. It is known from the results of the validation by material experts amounted to 92,9% and media experts amounted to total of 95.6% with the predicate can be used without the need for revision.
