Pengembangan E-Modul dengan Konteks Budaya untuk Literasi Numerasi Peserta Didik

Development of E-Module with Cultural Context for Student’s Numeracy Literacy

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil pengembangan E-Modul dengan konteks budaya untuk literasi numerasi peserta didik yang berkualitas baik, serta mendeskripsikan hasil literasi numerasi peserta didik setelah menggunakan E-Modul dengan konteks budaya.

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan E-Modul berbasis budaya untuk literasi numerasi peserta didik (modul ajar, video pengenalan budaya, alternatif penyelesaian latihan soal, kuis) dan Tes Literasi Numerasi (kisi-kisi, pedoman penilaian, instrumen tes, dan alternatif penyelesaian). Subjek yang dipilih yaitu kelas X-1 sebagai kelas uji coba prototype dan kelas X-7 sebagai kelas implement.

Materi yang dipilih untuk pengembangan modul ini adalah Sistem Persamaan Linear Tiga Variabel (SPLTV). Konteks budaya yang dipilih untuk pengembangan E-Modul ini yaitu budaya wayang kulit Arjuna, Bima, dan Gatotkaca serta makanan tradisional Kue Talam, Madumangsa, dan Wajik. Berdasarkan tujuh unsur universal kebudayaan dunia keenam konteks matematika tersebut termasuk pada kajian budaya sistem sosial dan organisasi sosial. Berdasarkan aktivitas kegiatan mendasar yang dapat ditemukan pada sekelompok budaya keenam konten matematika tersebut termasuk pada aktivitas matematika mengukur.

Hasil validasi dari para ahli berada pada kriteria sangat baik dan sedikit revisi. Pada uji coba yang telah dilakukan, validitas yang didapatkan berada pada nilai rxy=0.64, memenuhi kriteria validitas tinggi. Sensitivitas yang didapatkan berada pada nilai S=0.58, memenuhi kriteria sensitivitas baik. Reliabilitas yang didapatkan berada pada nilai r11=0.43, memenuhi kriteria reliabilitas sedang. Sehingga, E-Modul dengan konteks budaya untuk literasi numerasi peserta didik dapat dikatakan valid. Hasil analisis kemampuan pendidik memperoleh nilai rata-rata pengamatan berada pada nilai rata-rata x>=3.26, memenuhi kriteria sangat baik. Hasil analisis kemampuan peserta didik tiap pertemuan memperoleh nilai rata-rata pengamatan berada pada nilai rata-rata x>=3.26  dan dua nilai rata-rata pengamatan berada pada nilai rata-rata x>=2.51, memenuhi kriteria sangat baik dan baik. Sehingga E-Modul dengan konteks budaya untuk literasi numerasi peserta didik dapat dikatakan praktis. Persentase yang diperoleh dari tes literasi numerasi hasil post-test yaitu 95% peserta didik, memenuhi kriteria tuntas. Respon peserta didik sebagian besar memberikan respon positif. Sehingga, E-Modul dengan konteks budaya untuk literasi numerasi peserta didik dapat dikatakan efektif. E-Modul yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Sehingga, E-Modul dengan konteks budaya untuk literasi numerasi peserta didik berkualitas baik.

Analisis deskriptif literasi numerasi peserta didik diambil dari dua peserta didik kelas implement. Peserta didik dengan nilai Tes Literasi Numerasi (TLN) rendah dapat menyelesaikan soal level kongitif knowing dan applying. Namun, tidak dapat menyelesaikan soal dengan level kognitif reasoning. Sehingga peserta didik TLN rendah memiliki kemampuan formulate dan employ. Peserta didik dengan nilai TLN tinggi dapat menyelesaikan soal level kongitif knowing, applying, dan reasoning. Sehingga peserta didik TLN tinggi memiliki kemampuan formulate, employ, dan interpret.

This research aims to descripting the process of developing and E-Module with cultural context for student’s numeracy literacy in a good-quality and descripting the results of students' numeracy literacy after using such E-Module with cultural context.

The type of the research is development research with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). In this research, an E-Module with cultural context for student’s numeracy literacy (teaching module, video, alternative practice problem solving, quiz) and a Numeracy Literacy Test (grid, assessment guide, instrument test, and alternative solutions). The chosen subjects were class X-1 as the prototype trial class and class X-7 as the implementation class.

The material for developing this module is Systems of Linear Equations with Three Variables. The cultural context chosen for the development of this E-Module is the wayang kulit Arjuna, Bima, and Gatotkaca as well as the traditional foods Kue Talam, Madumangsa, and Wajik. Based on the seven universal elements of world culture, the six mathematical context have the cultural study of social systems and social organizations. Based on the basic activities that can be found in a group of cultures, the six mathematical have include measuring mathematical activities.

The validation results from experts are in very good criteria, with few revisions. In the trials that carried out, the validity obtained is at rxy=0.64 is the criteria for high validity. The sensitivity obtained was at a value of S=0.58 is the criteria for good sensitivity. The reliability obtained was at r11=0.43 is the criteria for moderate reliability. Thus, the E-Module with cultural context for student’s numeracy literacy is valid. The analysis of educators' abilities obtained an average observation score of x>=3.26 is the very good criteria. The study of student's abilities at each meeting showed that the average observation score was x>=3.26 and the two average observation scores were x>=2.51 is the very good and good criteria. Thus, E-Module with cultural context for student’s numeracy literacy can be said to be practical. The percentage obtained from the post-test numeracy literacy test  of students, is the criteria for completion. Most of the students' responses gave positive responses. Thus, E-Module with cultural context for student’s numeracy literacy can be said to be effective. The module developed have the criteria of being valid, practical and effective. Thus, the E-Module with cultural context for student’s numeracy literacy perspective, is good quality.

Two students from the implementation class were taken to descriptive analysis of the students' numeracy literacy. Students with low Numeracy Literacy Test (NLT) can complete questions at the knowing and applying cognitive level. However, He can not solve questions at the cognitive reasoning level. So that low NLT students have formulate and employ ability Students with high NLT can solve questions at the cognitive levels of knowing, applying, and reasoning. So that high TLN students have the ability to formulate, employ and interpret.
