PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN MEDIA DIORAMA TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA SD
THE EFFECT OF PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING MODEL MODEL ASSISTED BY DIORAMA MEDIA ON CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen pengaruh model problem based learning berbantuan media diorama untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi ekosistem yang harmonis kelas V SD. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, pengaruh, dan respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran model problem based learning berbantuan media diorama pada materi ekosistem yang harmonis. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimental dengan teknik random sampling dengan menggunakan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Subjek penelitian ini mencakup seluruh anggota kelas V tahun ajaran 2023/2024 di satu gugus sekolah dasar yaitu siswa kelas V SD Negeri Mander I sebanyak 20 siswa dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri Mander II sebanyak 21 siswa. Uji validitas dilakukan oleh dosen ahli media, ahli materi dan siswa kelas V SD Negeri Mander III Tuban. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen yang digunakan valid yaitu media diorama dinyatakan valid dengan persentase kavalidan yaitu 92% dan materi dinyatakan valid dengan persentase kavalidan yaitu 95% sehingga dinyatakan masuk kategori sangat valid. Hasil analisis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui angket respon siswa menunjukkan rata-rata 90% yang masuk kategori sangat tertarik dengan pembelajaran. Pada uji N-Gain juga menunjukkan perbedaan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, yaitu pada kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan sedang sedangkan kelas kontrol mengalami peningkatan rendah. Selain itu, uji hipotesis menggunakan uji independent sample t-test menunjukkan nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil uji hipotesis data N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol menunjukkan bahwa Ha diterima. Dengan demikian, terdapat pengaruh model problem based learning berbantuan media diorama terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SD.

This research is an experimental study of the effect of problem-based learning model assisted by diorama media to improve students' critical thinking skills on the material of harmonious ecosystems in grade V elementary school. The purpose of this study was to determine students' critical thinking skills, influence, and student responses to learning problem-based learning models assisted by diorama media on the material of harmonious ecosystems. The type of research used is quasi-experimental with random sampling technique using control class and experimental class. The subjects of this study included all members of grade V in the 2023/2024 school year in one cluster of elementary schools, namely grade V students of Mander I State Elementary School as many as 20 students and grade V students of Mander II State Elementary School as many as 21 students. The validity test was carried out by media expert lecturers, material experts and fifth grade students of SD Negeri Mander III Tuban. The results showed that the instruments used were valid, namely the diorama media was declared valid with a cavalid percentage of 92% and the material was declared valid with a cavalid percentage of 95% so that it was declared to be in a very valid category. The results of the analysis of students' critical thinking skills through student response questionnaires showed an average of 90% which was categorized as very interested in learning. The N-Gain test also shows the difference between the experimental class and the control class, namely the experimental class experienced a moderate increase while the control class experienced a low increase. In addition, hypothesis testing using the independent sample t-test shows a sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05. The results of the N-Gain data hypothesis test in the experimental and control classes showed that Ha was accepted. Thus, there is an effect of problem-based learning model assisted by diorama media on critical thinking skills of elementary school students.
