The Effect of Work Life Balance on Job Satisfaction Through Employee Engagement at PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Mojokerto Office
PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Kantor Mojokerto merupakan perusahaan BUMN yang beroperasi dalam sektor penghasilan, transmisi, pengumpulan, penyortiran, serta pengantaran surat ataupun paket pos. Kantor pos juga melakukan penjualan terhadap benda-benda pos seperti filateli, contohnya perangko, amplop, kartu pos, serta peralatan pembungkus paket. Dibeberapa negara, kantor pos menjadi tempat yang menerima aplikasi untuk paspor, wesel pos maupun money order, pemesanan barang, penjualan asuransi, dan juga pelayanan giro pos serta perbankan & jasa.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh work life balance terhadap job satisfaction melalui employee engagement pada PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Kantor Mojokerto. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non- probability sampling dengan jenis sampel jenuh dimana seluruh anggota populasi dijadikan sampel dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 36 karyawan PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Kantor Mojokerto. Analisis statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah partial least square (PLS) dengan bantuan software SmartPLS 4.0.9.6.
Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa work life balance berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap job satisfaction, work life balance berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap employee engagement, employee engagement berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap job satisfaction, employee engagement tidak berhasil memediasi hubungan antara work life balance dan job satisfaction.

PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Mojokerto Office is a state-owned company that operates in the sector of income, transmission, collection, sorting, and delivery of letters or postal packages. The post office also conducts sales of postal objects such as philately, for example stamps, envelopes, postcards, and package wrapping equipment. In some countries, post offices are places that accept applications for passports, postal orders and money orders, ordering goods, selling insurance, and also postal giro services and banking & services.
The purpose of this study was to test and analyze the effect of work life balance on job satisfaction through employee engagement at PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Mojokerto Office. This research uses a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling with a saturated sample type where all members of the population were sampled with a total of 36 respondents of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Mojokerto Office. The statistical analysis used in this research is partial least square (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS 4.0.9.6 software.
The results of this study explain that work life balance has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, work life balance has a significant positive effect on employee engagement, employee engagement has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, employee engagement does not successfully mediate the relationship between work life balance and job satisfaction.
