IMPLEMENTASI METODE RAPID APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT (RAD) PADA APLIKASI PELAYANAN ADMINISTRASI KEPENDUDUKAN KANTOR BALAI DESA TUNJUNGMEKAR KECAMATAN KALITENGAH BERBASIS WEBSITE DAN WHATSAPP GATEWAY
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE RAPID APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT (RAD) METHOD IN THE POPULATION ADMINISTRATION SERVICE APPLICATION OF TUNJUNGMEKAR VILLAGE OFFICE, KALITENGAH DISTRICT, BASED ON WEBSITE AND WHATSAPP GATEWAY
Proses administrasi kependudukan yang masih manual di Kantor Balai Desa Tunjungmekar, Kecamatan Kalitengah, Kabupaten Lamongan, yang menyebabkan antrean panjang, proses lambat, dan beban kerja tinggi bagi perangkat desa. Warga juga mengalami kesulitan dalam memperoleh informasi status surat dan harus datang langsung ke kantor desa berulang kali. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang dan membangun aplikasi pelayanan administrasi kependudukan berbasis website dan WhatsApp Gateway untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kecepatan pelayanan, serta mengimplementasikan WhatsApp Gateway untuk mendukung komunikasi layanan administrasi desa. Metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem, meliputi tahapan perencanaan kebutuhan, desain sistem, pengembangan, dan implementasi. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode Blackbox Testing untuk memastikan fungsionalitas utama aplikasi berjalan sesuai harapan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fitur utama, termasuk login, manajemen data warga, pengelolaan surat, notifikasi WhatsApp, pengajuan surat oleh warga, dan pengecekan status surat, berfungsi dengan baik dan sesuai ekspektasi. Aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah perangkat desa dalam mengelola administrasi dan masyarakat dalam mengakses layanan kependudukan secara digital.
The population administration process is still manual at the Tunjungmekar Village Hall Office, Kalitengah District, Lamongan Regency, which causes long queues, slow processes, and high workloads for village officials. Residents also experienced difficulty in obtaining information on the status of letters and had to come directly to the village office repeatedly. The aim of this research is to design and build a website and WhatsApp Gateway-based population administration service application to increase service efficiency and speed, as well as implement WhatsApp Gateway to support village administration service communication. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) method is used in system development, including the stages of requirements planning, system design, development and implementation. System testing is carried out using the Blackbox Testing method to ensure the main functionality of the application runs as expected. Test results show that all main features, including login, citizen data management, mail management, WhatsApp notifications, submitting letters by citizens, and checking mail status, function well and meet expectations. This application is expected to make it easier for village officials to manage administration and for the community to access population services digitally.
