Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran model inkuiri terbimbing untuk melatihkan literasi sains yang valid, praktis, dan efektif .
Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan dengan model pengembangan 4-D (Four-D Models) dan rancangan uji coba the one group pretest and posttest design. Kegiatan persiapan dilaksanakan di Pascasarjana Unesa, sedangkan uji coba dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Mojoanyar Mojokerto dengan 32 siswa di kelas replikasi 1, 31 siswa di kelas replikasi 2, dan 32 siswa di kelas replikasi 3 pada semester ganjil 2019/2020. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui metode validasi, observasi, tes, dan survei. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh: 1) validitas perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan meliputi silabus, RPP, LKS dan tes literasi sains berkategori sangat valid; 2) kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan ditinjau dari pengamatan keterlaksanaan RPP berkategori sangat baik dan kendala yang terjadi ketika pembelajaran dapat teratasi; 3) keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berdasarkan hasil dari peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains dengan rata-rata n gainscore berkategori tinggi pada kelas replikasi 1, kategori sedang pada kelas replikasi 2, dan 3, serta respon siswa sangat positif terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran dan komponen pendukung pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran model inkuiri terbimbing yang dikembangkan layak (valid, praktis, dan efektif) untuk melatihkan literasi sains siswa.
The aim of this study is to produce a guided inquiry learning model to train valid, practical and effective scientific literacy.
This study is a development research with a 4-D (Four-D Models) development model and the one group pretest and posttest design experimental design. The preparatory activities were carried out in Postgraduate study program Unesa, while the trials were carried out on students of eight grade in SMPN 2 Mojoanyar Mojokerto with 32 students in the replication class 1, 31 students in the replication class 2, and 32 students in the replication class 3 in the odd semester of 2019/2020. The data of this study were obtained through the method of validation, observation, tests, and surveys. The data analysis was performed descriptively qualitative. The results of this study are: 1) the validity of the developed learning devices included the syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheets and scientific literacy tests which categorized as very valid. 2) the practicality of the learning devices developed in the terms of observing the implementation of lesson plans which categorized as very good and the obstacles that occur when learning happen can be overcome; 3) the effectiveness of learning devices developed based on the results of increasing scientific literacy competencies with an average of n gain scores high in replication class 1, medium category in replication class 2 and 3. Student responses are very positive towards learning activities and learning support components. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning model which developed is feasible (valid, practical, and effective) to train student scientific literacy.
