PENGARUH KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL, MOTIVASI DAN SUPERVISI AKADEMIK TERHADAP KINERJA GURU DI YAYASAN TARAKANITA SURABAYA

Banyak faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja guru baik internal maupun eksternal, diantaranya adalah kecerdasan emosional, motivasi dan supervise akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan emosional, motivasi dan supervise akademik terhadap kinerja guru di Yayasan Tarakanita Wilayah Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan metode Partial Least Square (PLS). Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner yang disebarkan melalui G-form dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 90 responden dengan tempat penelitian empat sekolah yakni SD Santo Yosef, SD Santo Carolus, SMP Santo Yosef dan SMA Santo Carolus. Hasil penelitian menujukkan (1) kecerdasan emosional memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di Yayasan Tarakanita Wilayah Surabaya sebesar 0,510 kali; (2) motivasi memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di Yayasan Tarakanita Wilayah Surabaya sebesar 0,290 kali; (3) supervise akademik memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di Yayasan Tarakanita Wilayah Surabaya sebesar 0,200 kali;(4) kecerdasan emosional memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di Yayasan Tarakanita Wilayah Surabaya melalui motivasi; (5) supervise akademik memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja guru di Yayasan Tarakanita Wilayah Surabaya melalui motivasi. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada bidang pendidikan, khususnya dalam teori manajemen pendidikan, dengan menekankan pada kecerdasan emosional, motivasi dan supervise akademik terhadap kinerja guru di Yayasan Tarakanita Wilayah Surabaya. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi pada teori manajemen pendidikan, menyoroti pentingnya peran kecerdasan emosional, motivasi, dan supervisi akademik dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. Implikasi praktisnya, hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan acuan dalam pengembangan kebijakan manajerial, sistem penghargaan, dan program pelatihan untuk guru di Yayasan Tarakanita Wilayah Surabaya.

Many factors can influence teacher performance, both internal and external, including emotional intelligence, motivation, and academic supervision. This study aims to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence, motivation, and academic supervision on teacher performance at the Tarakanita Foundation in Surabaya Region. This research employs a quantitative approach through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms, with a total of 90 respondents from four schools: SD Santo Yosef, SD Santo Carolus, SMP Santo Yosef, and SMA Santo Carolus. The results of the study show that (1) emotional intelligence has a significant positive effect on teacher performance at the Tarakanita Foundation in Surabaya Region, with a coefficient of 0.510; (2) motivation has a significant positive effect on teacher performance, with a coefficient of 0.290; (3) academic supervision has a significant positive effect on teacher performance, with a coefficient of 0.200; (4) emotional intelligence significantly influences teacher performance through motivation; and (5) academic supervision significantly influences teacher performance through motivation. The findings of this study contribute to the field of education, particularly in educational management theory, by emphasizing the roles of emotional intelligence, motivation, and academic supervision in improving teacher performance at the Tarakanita Foundation in Surabaya Region. The practical implications of this study can serve as a reference for the development of managerial policies, reward systems, and training programs for teachers at the Tarakanita Foundation in Surabaya Region.
