PENGEMBANGAN MODUL PEMBELAJARAN BOTANICA-PROJECT UNTUK MENSTIMULASI MOTORIK HALUS ANAK USIA DINI

DEVELOPMENT OF THE  BOTANICA-PROJECT LEARNING MODULE TO STIMULATE FINE MOTOR SKILLS IN EARLY CHILDHOOD

Kemampuan motorik halus pada anak usia 4-5 tahun sangat penting untuk dioptimalkan dan distimulasi dengan menerapkan metode yang tepat. Kematangan pada aspek motorik halus dapat meningkatkan keterampilan hidup seperti memakai dan mengancingkan baju sendiri, memakai sepatu sendiri, serta menyikat gigi, selain itu juga dapat membantu anak dalam menyelesaikan tugas di sekolah seperti menulis. Tujuan yang akan dicapai pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan sebuah modul pembelajaran dengan metode Botanica-Project sebagai alternative pengembangan kegiatan motorik halus bagi anak usia 4-5 tahun serta mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan dari modul pembelajaran tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dan mengacu pada model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination). Data berupa penilaian mengenai kelayakan dan keefektifan modul pembelajaran Botanica-Project diperoleh dengan teknik angket atau kuesioner online dalam bentuk Google form. Hasil data yang diperoleh dari uji coba kelayakan dan keefektifan modul pada 30 guru TK di Surabaya menunjukkan nilai persentase sebesar 87%  sehingga termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Adapun penilaian kelayakan modul dari ahli materi memperoleh nilai persentase sebesar 89% dan termasuk kategori sangat baik, selain itu penilaian yang dilakukan oleh ahli media memperoleh nilai persentase sebesar 85% dan dapat digolongkan dalam kriteria sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran Botanica-Project dinyatakan memenuhi standar kelayakan dan keefektifan dalam menstimulasi aspek motorik halus anak pada usia 4-5 tahun. Pengembangan modul pembelajaran Botanica-Project dapat menjadi inovasi bahan ajar bagi guru TK dalam rangka menstimulasi kemampuan motorik halus anak usia 4-5 tahun melalui kegiatan berkebun hidroponik yang dilakukan di luar ruangan.

Fine motor skill in children aged 4-5 years old is really important to be optimized and stimulated by applying the right method. The good fine motor skill can improve life skills such as dressing, wearing their own shoes, and also brushing their teeth, moreover it can also help the children in completing tasks at school like writing. The aim of this study is to develop a learning module with Botanica-Project method as the alternative fine motor skills for children aged 4-5 years old and also to find out the feasibility and the effectiveness from the learning module. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) method with 4D development model (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination). The data in the form of an assessment of the feasibility and effectiveness of the Botanica-Project learning module obtained by using a questionnaire technique in the form of Google Form. The results of the feasibility test through the questionnaire assessment by 30 kindergarten teachers in Surabaya obtained the percentage value of 87%, and it is stated feasibly and effective for stimulating fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years old. The effectiveness assessment from the material expert indicates the percentage value is 89% and included in very feasible category, while the results from the media expert obtained the percentage value is 85%, so it is included in the very feasible category. The results show that the learning module is very feasible and effective if it is used to stimulate fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years old. The development of Botanica-Project learning module can be the innovation of the lesson plan for the kindergarten teachers in stimulating fine motor skills for children aged 4-5 years old through hydroponic gardening activities which could be done outside the room.
