Pengaruh Metode Pembelajaran Langsung Berbasis Aplikasi Voice Notebook terhadap Peningkatan Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Tunarungu di SMALB B Karya Mulia Surabaya

The Effect of Direct Learning Method Based on Voice Notebook Application on Improving Science Learning Outcomes of Deaf Students at SMALB B Karya Mulia Surabaya

   Hasil belajar merupakan hasil penilaian yang diperoleh setelah adanya perlakuan. Hasil belajar dapat diperoleh dengan maksimal apabila tidak ada faktor yang mempengaruhi. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar terutama pada anak tunarungu adalah gangguan pendengaran yang menyebabkan kurangnya kosakata bahasa yang dimiliki. Namun, anak tunarungu memiliki karakteristik yaitu kecenderungan pada kemampuan visualnya. Sehingga perlu adanya media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Aplikasi Voice Notebook merupakan aplikasi yang mampu mengubah informasi suara menjadi bentuk visual yaitu teks. Aplikasi tersebut mendukung bukan hanya pada proses pembelajaran namun juga komunikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran langsung berbasis aplikasi Voice Notebook terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa tunarungu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes yan diperoleh dari hasil pre test dan post test. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan peserta didik tunarungu berjumlah 7 orang. Pemberikan perlakuan sebanyak 7 kali perlakuan, dengan kegiatan pre test dan post test yang dilakukan sebanyak 1 kali. Dari hasil penelitian uji statistik yang telah dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test diperoleh nilai 0,017 dan hasil banding dengan tetapan nilai probabilitas adalah 0,017<0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran langsung berbasis aplikasi Voice Notebook berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa tunarungu di SMALB B Karya Mulia Surabaya.

Learning outcomes are assessment results obtained after treatment. Learning outcomes can be obtained maximally if there are no influencing factors. One of the factors that affect learning outcomes, especially in deaf children, is hearing loss which causes a lack of language vocabulary. However, deaf children have characteristics, namely a tendency to visual abilities. So it is necessary to have learning media that suits the needs of students. Voice Notebook application is an application that is able to convert voice information into a visual form, namely text. The application supports not only the learning process but also communication. This study aims to determine the effect of direct learning method based on Voice Notebook application on improving learning outcomes of deaf students. The research method used is an experimental method with data collection techniques in the form of tests obtained from the results of pre and post tests. The population in this study were 7 deaf students. Giving treatment as much as 7 times treatment, with pre test and post test activities carried out once. From the results of statistical test research that has been analyzed using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test obtained a value of 0.017 and the result of comparison with the probability value setting is 0.017 <0.05. So it can be concluded that the direct learning method based on the Voice Notebook application has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of deaf students at SMALB B Karya Mulia Surabaya.
