PENGGUNAAN MEDIA VIDEO TUTORIAL DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS 

TEKS PROSEDUR SISWA KELAS VII G SMPN 45 SURABAYA

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsikan penggunaan media video tutorial dalam pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas VII G SMPN 45 Surabaya, (2) mendeskripsikan hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media video tutorial dalam pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas VII G SMPN 45 Surabaya, dan (3) mendeskripsikan respon siswa kelas VII G SMPN 45 Surabaya setelah menggunakan media video tutorial dalam pembelajaran menulis teks prosedur. Teori pada penelitian ini menggunakan teori penelitian kuantitatif, Jenis penelitian ini eksperimen yang menggunakan desain pra-eksperimen dengan jenis One Group pretest-posttest Design (Satu Kelompok Pretes-Postes). Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas VII G SMPN 45 Surabaya yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, teknik tes berupa pretes dan postes, serta teknik angket. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media video tutorial berjalan baik dan lancar yang dibuktikan dengan perhitungan hasil proporsi lembar aktivitas guru sebesar 95% dan aktivitas siswa sebesar 88%, (2) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan media video tutorial lebih tinggi dibandingkan sebelum menggunakan media video tutorial, terbukti dari nilai rata-rata pretes sebesar 58 (belum mencapai KKM) dan postes sebesar 83 (sudah di atas KKM). Video tutorial tingkat keefektifan penggunaaan media dapat dilihat dari hasil uji-T yang terlihat sebesar 6,4 dibandingkan dengan nilai T-tabel pada taraf signifikansi 5%,

ABSTRACT

This study aims to (1) describe the use of video tutorial media in learning to write procedural texts for class VII G students of SMPN 45 Surabaya, (2) describe the learning outcomes before and after using video tutorial media in learning to write procedural texts for class VII G students of SMPN 45 Surabaya, and (3) describing the responses of class VII G students of SMPN 45 Surabaya after using video tutorial media in learning to write procedural texts. The theory in this study uses quantitative research theory. This type of research is experimental using a pre-experimental design with the type of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design (One Group Pretest-Posttest). The subject of this research was class VII G students of SMPN 45 Surabaya, totaling 22 students. Data collection techniques in this study used observation techniques, test techniques in the form of pretest and posttest, as well as questionnaire techniques. The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative data analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that (1) the learning process using video tutorial media runs well and smoothly as evidenced by the calculation of the results of the percentage of teacher activity sheets by 95% and student activity by 88%, (2) there are differences in student learning outcomes after using video media tutorial is higher than before using video tutorial media, as evidenced by the average pre-test score of 58 (has not yet reached the KKM) and post-test of 83 (already above the KKM). The level of effectiveness of the use of video tutorial media can be seen from the results of the T-test which has a value of 6.4 compared to the T-table value at a significance rate of 5%, (3) the use of video tutorial media gets a positive response from students, as evidenced by the student response questionnaire the average is 'Strongly Agree' 40%, Agree 58% and Disagree 2%.
