PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA POWERPOINT SPIN GAME TERINTEGRASI CLASSPOINT MATERI SISTEM SIRKULASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XI

DEVELOPING POWERPOINT SPIN GAME MEDIA INTEGRATED WITH CLASSPOINT ON CIRCULATORY SYSTEM MATERIAL TO IMPROVE CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS OF GRADE XI STUDENTS

Questionnaire results indicated that 61.9% of students considered the circulatory system to be the most difficult topic, and students continued to struggle with questions at cognitive levels C4–C5, particularly on the indicators of interpretation, analysis, and inference. Students appeared more enthusiastic and active when learning involved games compared to conventional PowerPoint, which motivated the researcher to develop Spin Game-based media to create a more interactive learning experience. This study aimed to produce a ClassPoint-integrated PowerPoint Spin Game media for the circulatory system topic in Grade XI and to determine its level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness in improving students' critical thinking skills. This study is a development research using the ASSURE model, which consists of six stages: Analyze Learners, State Objectives, Select Methods, Media, and Materials, Utilize Media and Materials, Require Learner Participation, and Evaluate and Revise. The developed media incorporates interactive Spin Game features integrated with ClassPoint, aligned with critical thinking skill indicators. A limited trial was conducted with 36 Grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Gresik. The results showed that the media was categorized as highly valid with an average score of 92.58%. Practicality was demonstrated by a learning implementation observation score of 97.62% and student response score of 96.88%, both categorized as highly practical. Effectiveness was indicated by the improvement in pretest and posttest scores before and after media use, with a posttest average of 83.28 and an N-Gain score of 0.71, categorized as high. Based on these results, the ClassPoint-integrated PowerPoint Spin Game media developed through the ASSURE model for the circulatory system topic is declared feasible for use in improving the critical thinking skills of Grade XI students.
