PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA BLOK ALJABAR BERBASIS WEBSITE UNTUK MENGAJARKAN KONSEP FAKTORISASI PERSAMAAN KUADRAT YANG VALID, PRAKTIS, DAN EFEKTIF
DEVELOPMENT OF WEBSITE-BASED ALGEBRA BLOCK MEDIA TO TEACH CONCEPT FACTORISATION OF QUADRATIC EQUATIONS THAT IS VALID, PRACTICAL, AND EFFECTIVE
Kesulitan siswa dalam memahami konsep faktorisasi persamaan kuadrat menjadi masalah penting dalam pembelajaran matematika. Banyak siswa mengalami kebingungan dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal terkait pengaruh koefisien dan konstanta serta ketidakmampuan dalam memfaktorkan persamaan kuadrat dengan benar. Minimnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang interaktif juga mempengaruhi proses belajar siswa.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media blok aljabar berbasis website pada materi faktorisasi persamaan kuadrat yang ditinjau dari kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE dengan subjek penelitian 33 siswa kelas X SMA Negeri Ngoro. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi media dan materi, angket respon, lembar observasi, serta pre-test dan post-test. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif.
Proses pengembangan media melalui lima tahapan ADDIE meliputi analisis kebutuhan siswa dan kurikulum, perancangan tampilan media, pengembangan menggunakan Visual Studio Code, implementasi melalui uji coba kelas, dan evaluasi kualitas media.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan media pembelajaran valid dengan nilai rata-rata 3,25 dari ahli media dan 3,73 dari ahli materi. Media unggul dalam penggunaan bahasa yang jelas dan penyajian materi yang sistematis. Kepraktisan media dibuktikan melalui respon siswa sebesar 87,26% dan hasil observasi 100%, dimana siswa dapat dengan mudah mengoperasikan fitur seperti simulasi dan latihan soal. Keefektifan media terlihat dari peningkatan hasil belajar dengan rata-rata skor pre-test dan post-test sebesar 84,10%, yang menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal faktorisasi persamaan kuadrat.

Students' difficulty in understanding the concept of quadratic equation factorization is an important problem in mathematics learning. Many students experience confusion in solving issues related to the influence of coefficients and constants and the inability to factor quadratic equations correctly. The minimal use of interactive learning media also affects the student learning process.
This study aims to develop website-based algebra block media on the material of quadratic equation factorization which is reviewed from the validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The study used the ADDIE development model with 33 class X students of Ngoro State High School as research subjects. Data collection techniques used media and material validation sheets, response questionnaires, observation sheets, and pre-tests and post-tests. Data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively.
The media development process went through five ADDIE stages including analysis of student and curriculum needs, media display design, development using Visual Studio Code, implementation through class trials, and evaluation of media quality.
The results showed that the learning media was valid with an average value of 3.25 from the instructional media experts and 3.73 from material experts. The media excelled in the use of clear language and systematic presentation of material. The practicality of the media is proven through student responses of 87.26% and observation results of 100%, where students can easily operate features such as simulations and practice questions. The effectiveness of the media can be seen from the increase in learning outcomes with an average pre-test and post-test score of 84.10%, which shows an increase in student understanding in solving quadratic equation factorization problems.
