Materi karakteristik geografis Indonesia berisi materi tentang cuaca dan Iklim di Indonesia, Peta, dan Flora dan Fauna di Indonesia Pada kenyataannya masih terdapat banyak siswa yang belum memahaminya. Untuk itu diperlukannya pengembangan media Computer Assisted Instruction pada materi Karakteristik Geografis Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan media Computer Assisted Instruction yang dikembangkan pada mata pelajaran IPS materi Karakteristik Geografis Indonesia kelas V di SD Negeri Lakarsantri 2 Surabaya.
Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, angket, dan tes. Terdapat 2 teknik analisis data yaitu teknik analisis data angket menggunakan rumus presentase dan teknik analisis data tes mengggunakan uji-t.
Berdasarkan hasil kelayakan media bahwa media Computer Assisted Instruction materi Karakteristik Geografis Indonesia di Kelas V di SD Negeri Lakarsantri 2 Surabaya layak diterapkan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Setelah dilakukannya kegiatan pre-test dan post-test pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen maka media Computer Assisted Instruction pada mata materi Karakteristik Geografis Indonesia di Kelas V di SD Negeri Lakarsantri 2 Surabaya efektif digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

For that, the development of Computer Assisted Instruction Media in Indonesian geographical characteristics material. The purpose of this research is to know the feasibility and effectiveness of Computer Assisted Instruction Media developed on the subject of IPS in Indonesia geographical characteristics class V in elementary school Lakarsantri 2 Surabaya.
The development model used is ADDIE is development model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). Data collection methods using interviews, polls, and tests. There are two data analysis techniques that are data analysis technique of poll using formula percentage and data analysis technique test use test T.
Based on media feasibility results that the media Computer Assisted Instruction of Indonesians geographical characteristics in class V at SD Negeri Lakarsantri 2 Surabaya deserves to be applied in the learning activities. After the pretest and post test activities in the control class and experimental classes, the Computer Assisted Instruction media on the subject of Indonesian geographical characteristics in class V in Lakarsantri State Elementary School 2 Surabaya is effectively used in Learning activities.
