DEVELOPMENT OF ENGSIS LEARNING MEDIA (ENGKLEK METAMORPHOSIS) TO IMPROVE STUDENT LEARNING RESULT IN FOURTH GRADE SCIENCE SUBJECT AT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Media pembelajaran mampu mewujudkan kondisi yang lebih menyenangkan, sehingga siswa lebih bersemangat dan aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Maka dari itu, kegiatan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan tidak membosankan mampu membuat siswa tertarik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Peneliti mengembangkan media pembelajaran Engsis (Engklek Metamorfosis) dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan media pembelajaran Engsis (Engklek Metamorfosis) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Instrument pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi, angket respon dan tes. Subjek penelitian ini yakni siswa kelas IV UPT SD Negeri 218 Gresik. Analisis data kevalidan diperoleh melalui validasi ahli media sebesar 93,63%, validasi ahli materi sebesar 92,72%. Berdasarkan persentase kevalidan berada pada kategori sangat valid.
Analisis data kepraktisan diperoleh melalui angket respon siswa dan guru. Hasil angket respon siswa pada uji coba skala kecil diperoleh persentase sebesar 92%, hasil angket respon siswa pada uji coba skala besar diperoleh sebesar 94,8%, dan hasil angket respon guru diperoleh persentase sebesar 93,3%. Berdasarkan persentase kepraktisan tersebut berada pada kategori sangat praktis. Sedangkan keefektifan media pembelajaran Engsis (Engklek Metamorfosis) dikatakan efektif digunakan karena hasil persentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar 92%, dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa melalui perhitungan N-Gain sebesar 0,71 yang dikategorikan tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil data yang telah diperoleh, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Engsis (Engklek Metamorfosis) memiliki nilai kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan yang tinggi sehingga layak dipergunakan untuk siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPA kelas IV di sekolah dasar.

Learning media is able to create more pleasant conditions, so that students are more enthusiastic and active in learning activities. Therefore, learning activities that are fun and not boring can make students interested in learning activities. Researchers developed Engsis learning media (Engklek Metamorphosis) with the aim of knowing the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of Engsis learning media (Engklek Metamorphosis) to improve student learning result in class IV Science subjects in elementary schools. This research uses research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. The data collection instruments used were validation sheets, response questionnaires and tests. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of UPT SD Negeri 218 Gresik. Validity data analysis was obtained through media expert validation of 93.63%, material expert validation of 92.72%. Based on the percentage of validity, it is in the very valid category.
Practicality data analysis was obtained through student and teacher response questionnaires. The results of the student response questionnaire in the small-scale trial obtained a percentage of 92%, the results of the student response questionnaire in the large-scale trial obtained 94.8%, and the results of the teacher's response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 93.3%. Based on the practicality percentage, it is in the very practical category. While the effectiveness of learning media Engsis (Engklek Metamorphosis) is said to be effectively used because the percentage of learning completeness is 92%, and the increase in student learning result through N-Gain calculations is 0.71 which is categorized as high. Based on the results of the data that has been obtained, it can be concluded that Engsis learning media (Engklek Metamorphosis) has high validity, practicality, and effectiveness values so that it is suitable for use by students in class IV Science subjects in elementary schools.
