ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Lembar Penilaian Pemahaman Diri (LPPD) berbasis strategi metakognitif pada materi virus yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. LPPD dikembangkan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate), namun pada tahap Disseminate hanya dilakukan dengan melakukan revisi dan penyebaran secara terbatas. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan pada 20 peserta didik kelas X MIA 3 SMA Negeri 18 Surabaya. Validitas ditinjau dari hasil validasi dosen ahli pendidikan, dosen ahli materi, dan guru biologi SMA. Kepraktisan ditinjau dari observasi aktivitas peserta didik. Keefektifan ditinjau dari peningkatan kemampuan metacomprehension, hasil belajar, dan respon peserta didik. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa LPPD yang dikembangkan memperoleh nilai modus 4 dengan kategori sangat valid. LPPD yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat praktis berdasarkan hasil keterlaksanaan aktivitas peserta didik dengan rata-rata aktivitas terlaksana. LPPD dinyatakan sangat efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan metacomprehension peserta didik yang mengalami peningkatan dari skor rata-rata 2,9 dengan kategori baik menjadi 3,55 dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil belajar peserta didik ditinjau dari nilai pre-test dan post-test yang dianalisis menggunakan N-Gain score mengalami peningkatan ketuntasan dengan skor 0,89 sehingga termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Respon peserta didik mendapatkan skor rata-rata 95% dengan kategori sangat efektif.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to produce a Self Understanding Evaluation Sheet (SUES) based on metacognitive strategies on virus material that is valid, practical, and effective. The assessment sheet was developed using 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), but the Disseminate stage was only done by revisions and limited distributions. Limited trials were conducted on 20 students of class X MIA 3 in Senior High School 18 Surabaya. Validity is viewed from the results of the validation of education expert lecturers, material expert lecturers, and high school biology teachers. Practicality is viewed from observations of student activities. Effectiveness is viewed from increased metacomprehension abilities, learning outcomes, and student responses. The data analysis used is qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The validation results show that the assessment sheet developed get a very valid mode value. The assessment sheet developed was stated to be very practical based on the results of the student activities implementation with the average activities done. The assessment sheet was stated very effective viewed from metacomprehension abilities of students that increase from an average score of 2,9 with a good category to 3,55 with a very good category. Learning outcomes of students is viewed from the value of pre-test and post-test analyzed using the N-Gain score got an increase in completeness with a score of 0,89 that is included in the high category. The student responses get an average score of 95% with a very effective category.
