UMKM kerupuk di Kecamatan Tulangan Kabupaten Sidoarjo memiliki banyak produk kerupuk. Salah satu produk UMKM yang menjadi ikonik adalah usaha rumahan yang menghasilkan aneka ragam kerupuk melalui proses pengolahan. Namun dalam hal ini masih memiliki salah satu hal yang kurang diperhatikan, yaitu dalam pemasaran dan promosi. Penyampaian informasi dilakukan melalui berbagai macam jenis media. Peneliti memilih media WebAPI untuk memberikan informasi yang bersifat publik serta dapat diakses dan dikelola oleh publik. Peneliti merancang sistem layanan informasi berbasis API yang menyediakan data produk kerupuk olahan UMKM di Kecamatan Tulangan, Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Sistem tersebut dapat diakses oleh user yang terdaftar untuk mendapatkan informasi produk. User yang telah terdaftar juga dapat berkontribusi untuk mengelola produk kerupuk oleh masing-masing user. Pengembangan sistem layanan informasi kerupuk menggunakan metode API first development digunakan agar pengembangan tersebut dilakukan secara terfokus dengan kebutuhan fungsional sistem.

Berdasarkan penelitian yang sudah dilaksanakan, dengan mengambil dari banyaknya data yang diuji coba hingga membantu berjalannya bisnis kerupuk, pengembangan layanan sistem informasi berbasis WebAPI. Karena pada UMKM terdapat beberapa produk kerupuk unggulan, peneliti membuat sistem layanan informasi yang dapat membantu memberikan detail informasi kerupuk produksi UMKM kepada klien/user yang mengakses sistem tersebut dengan WebAPI. Pertimbangan penggunaan arsitektur microservice agar sistem dapat terisolasi dan berfokus pada modul tertentu. Dengan arsitektur microservice, ketika terdapat pengembangan selanjutnya baik minor maupun  major  dapat dilakukan secara parsial ataupun paralel. Pengembangan dengan menerapkan API first juga dilakukan dengan tujuan tercapainya produk WebAPI sehingga pengembangan layanan agar terbangun sesuai kebutuhan.

One of the iconic UMKM products is a home-based business that produces a variety of crackers through a processing process. However, in this case there is still one thing that is not given enough attention, namely in terms of marketing and promotion. Delivery of information can be done through various types of media. The researchers opted for WebAPI media to deliver publicly accessible and manageable information. Researchers designed an API-based information service system that provides data on UMKM processed cracker products in Tulangan District, Sidoarjo Regency. This system can be accessed by registered users to obtain product information. Registered users can also contribute to managing cracker products by each user. The cracker information service system is developed using the API-first development method to ensure a focused approach aligned with the functional requirements of the system.

Based on the research that has been carried out, by taking from the large amount of data that has been tested to help run the cracker business, the development of WebAPI-based information system services. Because there are several superior cracker products for UMKMs in Tulangan District, Sidoarjo, researchers created an information service system that can help provide detailed information on UMKM cracker production to clients or users who access the system using WebAPI. Consider using a microservice architecture so that the system can be isolated and focused  on certain modules. With a microservice architecture, when there is further development, both minor and major, it can be carried out partially or in parallel. Development by implementing API first is also carried out with the aim of achieving a WebAPI product so that service development can be developed according to needs.
