125cc ENGINE TRAINER DESIGN BASED ON FOUR STROKE ENGINE WITH FERRITE MAGNET ENGINEERING
Combustion in motor vehicles emits exhaust gases, most of which are greenhouse gases that will trigger global warming. One way to reduce gas emissions in vehicles by perfecting the combustion system in the vehicle. To overcome these problems, other ways are needed in order to spray the briefing, with relatively cheap materials, and easily available. One way to use ferrite magnets to spray burning vehicles. This study aims to determine the effect of Ferrite magnet installation on ignition coil and fuel hose on the performance of four stroke 125cc engine on fuel consumption and exhaust emissions. The method used in this study is based on the standard SNI 19-7118.3-2005 (measurement of fuel consumption) which uses a variable speed testing method with the valve (throttle) is fully open. Testing was conducted at 1000-5000rpm with a range of 1000 rpm for each data retrieval. The research instruments used in this research are digital tachometer, fuel flow meter, 4 in 1 multifunction environment meter, gas emission analizer and stopwatch. From this study obtained data that the installation of ferrite magnets on the fuel hose and ignition coil can save fuel 1,379% (pertalite) and 1,375% (pertamax). And reduce exhaust emissions in vehicles with a percentage change in CO emissions pertalite fuel before and after using ferrite magnet by 3.84% then co gas pertamax fuel percentage change by 4.69%, HC gas emissions pertalite percentage change by 8.49% then HC gas pertamax percentage change by 10.18%, O2 gas emissions Pertalite percentage change by 7.44% then O2 gas Pertamax fuel percentage change7.04%, gas emissions CO2 Pertalite fuel percentage perperbuahaan of 3.84% then gas emissions CO2 pertamax fuel percentage perbuhanan of 3.28% and the percentage change of gas emissions lambda before and after using ferrite magnet on fuel Pertalite of 1,064% and using fuel pertamax percentage of 1,133%
