THE DEVELOPMENT OF
E-COMIC MEDIA WITH THE STRATEGY OF INDONESIAN NATIVE TO AGAINST IMPERIALISM AND
COLONIALSM AS THE LEARNING MATERIAL IN HISTORY LESSON OF XI IPS SEJAHTERA

E-comic
is an electronic based educational media for smartphone. This research is aimed
to create the development of E-comic media to the History lesson with the
Strategy of Indonesian Native to against Imperialism and Colonialism as the
main Learning Material and Diponegoro war as the sub theme for XI IPS students
in Senior High School Sejahtera in an effective and proper way in teaching and
learning process.
The
development model that is used in this research is ADDIE (Analyze, Design,
Develop, Implement, and Evaluate ) development model by Branch. The advisability
test method used questionnaire that is given to the learning material expert,
learning design expert, media expert, and supporting material expert and
students in XI IPS Senior High School Sejahtera Surabaya, 3 Students for
Individual test, 6 Students for Small groups test and big group
test. The advisability technique test use pre-test and post-test
experimental along with Students in XI IPS Senior High School Surabaya as the
research subjects.
The
result of data analysis toward development of E-comic to the History lesson
with the Strategy of Indonesian Native to against Imperialism and Colonialism
as the Learning Material is supported by data (from the learning
expert = 83,53% means “very good”, material expert= 100% means “very good”,
E-comic media expert = 100%, means “very good” also student individual test =
92,60 %, means, “very good”, small group test = 90, 7%, means very good, and
usage test = 92,90 %, means, “very good”), this results show that e-Comic media
that is being developed is suitable for teaching and learning process. This
result of this also is strengthened by the result of e-Comic
advisability analysis test from Strategy of Indonesian Native to against
Imperialism and Colonialism as the Learning Material in
history class XI IPS with pre-test and post-test data analysis
control and experiment class (t hitung =8,87) with significant value 5% (db=68, t tabel =1,67).
In conclusion with t hitung value is higher than t tabel means
that e-Comic media is effective for the teaching and learning process.
